  • This week, I am very excited to share a podcast that breaks tradition with our normal format.
Normally, I answer questions from people in recovery all over the world. This episode features an interview I conducted with Zach Bush, MD., from the recent Life Beyond Addiction Conference.
Zach is a renowned, multi-disciplinary physician of internal medicine, endocrinology, and hospice care, as well as an internationally recognized educator on the microbiome as it relates to human health, soil health, food systems, and a regenerative future.
This interview was among the most watched during the Life Beyond Addiction Conference.
Zach shares profound wisdom about the power of nature, the interconnectedness of all things, and the way beyond all addiction. There are no words to fully describe the depth of this conversation.
You just have to listen for yourself as we cover a lot of territory.
P.S. If you would like to watch or listen to any or all of the conference collection, you can purchase the full conference at lifebeyondaddiction.com/collection2024

Here in west Wales I grow food for our community which is safe to eat meaning the soil isn’t damaged by chemicals. However making it work financially almost stops it from happening. If I didn’t do this I’d go back to sit beneath that oak tree you speak about! I appreciate both of you for broadcasting the awareness we all must have now. Peace and love to everyone🕉️🙏🏽

I love this conversation because I have discovered nature to be my beautiful sanctuary and I’ve turned my backyard into a food forest where I could stay forever!

There’s so much to note in this big, beautiful gold nugget that I need to think about it for a bit.
But, it’s affirming, for sure (nod to host) to listen to another who gets that Mother Earth isn’t just a rock hanging in the sky. She is a living entity with ancient wisdom that’s too profound for us to currently comprehend.

Hit the nail on the head about materialising spirituality. I briefly experienced unconditional love (what I believed would be "the norm" in the Aquarian Age) back in 2005. Since then I have consistently peeling back the layers of trauma and conditioning, beliefs etc that I have taken into my entire system. The experience propelled me into the manifestation, but in order to be there it was apparently necessary to clear, to learn (remember) how to live in flow etc. So we are busy with manifestation of unconditional love in ourselves and in the world around us by becoming more and more authentic. It's a journey. Although I must say, the pace at which this can now evolve is fastening so much, I can transform in minutes now what used to take months & even years 🙏

My two take away points… The Buddha attained Enlightenment under the Bodhi tree after being there for 6 years.
Meditation and Yoga is not relaxation… Meditation and Yoga is realisation.
