I’m sure to add and edit this comment, but I have to say that it’s a superb engine room and great sounding diesels. And a great idea, for a charter boat, the division of the master cabin!
Did I miss them? Where are the generators? Constructively, please give some details such as fuel tank size, range (if known) and things like that. Really helps me when I'm looking for a boat to buy... Oh, and price would be good too. Thanks
I just give boat tours in this channel to show what different boats look like. Not all are for sale, but this one is for sale and the listing link with the listing brokers contact info is: www.pieroneyachtsales.com/boats-for-sale/1999-hatteras-74-motoryacht-boca-grande-florida-8044274/
She is currently still for sale! 😎 see her listing here: pieroneyachtsales.com/boat-details/?id=82711&title=74-ft-hatteras-1999-eleven-boca-grande-florida-united-states-yacht-for-sale&vessel=2787125
Thanks Ed. I’m still a drone newbie. Only used it in the last two videos. The Hatteras 74 that you watched was my first. I’ll try that out and thank you SO much for the constructive feedback. Was trying to figure out how to make it smoother. When you watch future videos and it is smoother…it will be all because you let me know how to do it better. THANK YOU 🙏🏻 good sir!
You don’t need a Captain’s license unless you are going to use the boat commercially. However, depending on your logged experience with boats, especially of larger size, an insurance company may not insure you to drive the vessel until you get enough logged experience. These insurance company restrictions seem to kick in with vessels greater than 40 ft
Very nice boat and well kept. But you forgot to specify the engine size and fuel consumption and also the price. When will you have this on the boats you are showing I will press the bell
This channel is not about "selling boats" per se. These videos are used and shown on boat listing sites while they are for sale, but most of the videos I have...the boats have been sold. I'm just trying to show what different boats look like and boat listing sites like yachtworld.com are where you can find prices and specs. However, when someone inquires if a boat is still available I do respond. This vessel currently is still for sale and here is a listing link with the information: pieroneyachtsales.com/boat-details/?id=82711&title=74-ft-hatteras-1999-eleven-boca-grande-florida-united-states-yacht-for-sale&vessel=2787125
Thank you Boat Snoop for this nice show of the Hatteras 74 a rare find in Europe a nice and big engine room but what for engine its is or did I mist this?
Great tour, I really enjoyed. FYI, Ed is right, the cinematic mode is nice but I would say just learn how to smoothly fly the drone first. Once you get comfortable and confident, you will be able to better stabilize.
Shawn, I was able to get the drone flying a bit smoother on the following video, Ep 30 Hatteras 53, and can definitely see other ways to smooth it out even more. I’m glad you enjoyed the video 😎
They are not large…except the master stateroom. However, you’ll only be sleeping there. I figure I’d be in the salon relaxing or more likely on the upper “party deck” tending those beer keg taps 😎😂
Beautiful boat thanks for sharing. It would be nice if you would not zoom in so close. It makes it a little difficult to see & follow. A for effort, nice job!
That is your takeaway? I video a boat and show it how it is. I don’t prestage and make it look different than how it really is…and I’m not a seller’s maid/interior decorator. Just showing the real deal and what the boat really looks like 😳😎
Well, she's not 30 years old yet...so not quite antique. Now this video of an antique classic Hatteras 53...: th-cam.com/video/sF-pg8eUA_0/w-d-xo.html😎
Not everyone wants a state of the art, super modern yacht. This yacht is great for someone who wants to do a refit, and it doesn't have to be crazy or "all out" because of its simplicity.
Correct blewyd and not everyone wants to spend millions of dollars on a “new, modern, and up-to-date” style. This is a lot of boat for its current price of $900k
Than you for your interest, but this boat is no longer available. This video is for historical purposes now so that people can see what a Hatteras 74 looks like.
Hello from France. They are no VIP cabin? It's just for 2 and 8 crew? Seriously!! This boat is not explored like a long cruiser. Where do you eat? outside? Because they are not really glass? It's not possible in winter. This boat is just for tropical countries? Thanks lots. Bye
thumbs up for the tour , thumbs down on the boat . That boat as ether had a hard life or it`s was built 1969 not 99 ,going on a hard life ,and in need of a full 2021 refit
Thanks for the tour compliment. It is interesting that you say the boat had a hard life. You are the second person who has said that. Out of curiosity, what parts of the boat do you think are deficient? My question is sincere as I am just trying to be open to different perspectives and having personally been on the boat when I did the photo shoot...I thought it was a pretty nice boat...for a 1999 😎.
LOLOLOL! Now I will need to block Boat Snoopy’s internet access. When he saw your last comment he drank a whole fifth of rum it depressed him so much. He’s not used to anyone not liking him 😳😂
Am I the only one who could listen to marine diesels fire up and spool all day long🤣🤣🤣
LOL! I'll join your fired up marine diesel club 😎
Beautiful boat love the taps behind the helm station!
The beer taps are awesome…just saying…a Captain may be thirsty after a long voyage…😎
@@BoatSnoop I can relate it does get thirsty out here! Have a good one.
Nice boat thank you ⚓️❤️⚓️
I’m glad you enjoyed the tour of the Hatteras 74 😎
I’m sure to add and edit this comment, but I have to say that it’s a superb engine room and great sounding diesels. And a great idea, for a charter boat, the division of the master cabin!
It is a nice engine room…wish my sailboat had 1/10th the room that engine room has LOL 😂
Awesome layout. Thanks for sharing
No problem. This boat was fun and I’m glad you enjoyed the video.
Did I miss them? Where are the generators? Constructively, please give some details such as fuel tank size, range (if known) and things like that. Really helps me when I'm looking for a boat to buy... Oh, and price would be good too. Thanks

She is currently still for sale! 😎 see her listing here: pieroneyachtsales.com/boat-details/?id=82711&title=74-ft-hatteras-1999-eleven-boca-grande-florida-united-states-yacht-for-sale&vessel=2787125
Beautiful boat, thanks from Canada
Thank you Kim. It was a fun boat to video and it always makes me happy to hear that people like a boat that I have nade a video on 😎
Great video 👍
Thank you Jessen!
good day please give to us the sales price for this yacht ,thank you.
This video is just up for a historical look at what a Hatteras 74 looks like. This boat has been gone for about a year.
Beautiful love this boat
It was a noce boat…floating condo 😎
Put your drone video settings in cinematic mode. That way it will not jump when your tracking your target. Ed
Thanks Ed. I’m still a drone newbie. Only used it in the last two videos. The Hatteras 74 that you watched was my first. I’ll try that out and thank you SO much for the constructive feedback. Please tell me what is the max. Length a yacht can be without a Captain's license?

Where do you post the boat price? Am getting tired of having to search the net to find the boat and price on another web site.

and also where it is located.
Thank you Boat Snoop for this nice show of the Hatteras 74 a rare find in Europe a nice and big engine room but what for engine its is or did I mist this?
It has twin Caterpillar 3412 diesel engines with 1350 HP each. 😎
@@BoatSnoop Thank you that are big engines
Nice live aboard
Would definitely be nice living on this boat 😎
Just a small point but at 08:28 its a water pump
Thank you! You are absolutely right. Sometimes when I’m just glancing around and talking…I get it wrong 😎
@@BoatSnoop All Good LOL nice boat just a tad to big for me ...
If I check everywhere I may be able to afford the Conch shell on the aft deck table......maybe
LOLOLOL. Yeah, not your everyday persons boat or “conch shell” 😂
How much are you asking for it ? Very interested
This vessel has been gone and not available for about 1.5 years.
What are they wanting
This vessel is no longer for sale.
Boat cleat handles on the galley cabinets, hw
I didn’t notice that while filming…I’ll have to back and look at that 😎. Upon review…you are indeed correct good sir. Kind of a cool touch 😁
Great tour, I really enjoyed. FYI, Ed is right, the cinematic mode is nice but I would say just learn how to smoothly fly the drone first. Once you get comfortable and confident, you will be able to better stabilize.

This boat have stabilizers?
Not that I am aware of…
I'm surprised at the size of boat that guest staterooms are tiny.
They are not large…except the master stateroom. However, you’ll only be sleeping there. I figure I’d be in the salon relaxing or more likely on the upper “party deck” tending those beer keg taps 😎😂
What is the price?
They are currently asking $900,000
Beautiful boat thanks for sharing. It would be nice if you would not zoom in so close. It makes it a little difficult to see & follow. A for effort, nice job!
I get it, but was at max zoom out. Would have to get some additional expensive equipment to zoom out more 😎
How much?
She currently is at $900,000
Not sure why anyone selling a boat would have those 2 deck chairs placed haphazardly in the aft deck. I can’t get it outa my head.
That is your takeaway? I video a boat and show it how it is. I don’t prestage and make it look different than how it really is…and I’m not a seller’s maid/interior decorator. Just showing the real deal and what the boat really looks like 😳😎
Pick up can't hear you
Lovely boat but showing its age. Requires a refit and many upgrades I thought. It would need to be priced accordingly.
Antique brother
Well, she's not 30 years old yet...so not quite antique. Now this video of an antique classic Hatteras 53...: th-cam.com/video/sF-pg8eUA_0/w-d-xo.html😎
Too many updates are needed throughout the boat.
What in particular would you update?

Thats no aircompressor, is a hydrophore
If someone is interested in a boat with no sails, engines only, You better be interested in engines!
It would be a crazy boat for sure if it had sails 😂

Thanks for the feedback. Not disagreeing with you about things she lacks, but I’m just showing the vessel as she is…I don’t design and build them 😎
Why
thumbs up for the tour , thumbs down on the boat . That boat as ether had a hard life or it`s was built 1969 not 99 ,going on a hard life ,and in need of a full 2021 refit
