@@championfataki3428 Well am your neighbour. I knew they were from DRC but not the tribes. I know parts of Congo like Goma , Bukavu. Kinshasa, Kisangani, and some more but I have never been. Some of my family ( my grandmother’s sister and husband) lived in Goma many years ago but now their souls are resting in peace. Their language is a mixture of so many languages in Uganda. Like Luganda, Lukonjo and Lunyankole. I heard some Swahili words in their too. Bakonjo are definitely your cousin’s because they are on the border of Congo and Uganda. Have you heard of Rwenzori mountains? This is where the Bakonjo live. We have a tribe there called Abanyenzururu the Pygmy people. I will tell you some words and the meanings Tata- father Omwana- child Nyumba- house Kabibi- is a name Mbabwire - I told them Makerere- is the name of our top university Kyibuye- is a place here Tuweza in Swahili, we can Anuma it’s like pain Mwezi yake mwenda- Is 9 months I would like to know if what I have said means the same in this language. Thank you 🙏🏾
@lemondrizzle5658 , I am so impressed with your knowledge I travel a lot around Africa to understand my roots and out love for my mother land , everything you've said gave me goosebumps coz I've been telling people about the same thing even my Mom didn't believe me, I've been everywhere in east Africa and almost everywhere in UG kasese mbarara kpl to fort portal and more... I've learned about Baganda , konjo , gisu , kiga , soga , Acholi, lugbara , konjo , Tooro , nyoro , nkole , bafumbira , batuku people and More I understood that we are all one people and all our languages are very similar if not the same in east west north or south since then I don't really care about borders anymore I see our mother as one divided kingdoms or clans
