Pro tip: When something like Soul Craft refers to the 'primary stats' of an item, that only means health, attack, defense, speed, and clarity; not other numeric bonuses like an increase to crit chance, dodge chance, or stealth. Excellent stuff. Delightful game. I come back to it every couple of weeks and spend a few hours of downtime playing it. Pleased to see the dev coming out with new content.
I Mean yeah sure, if you wanna fall into the bad trope of generic game design, the games have great asthetics, but the actual gameplay while being a fun way to pass the time, boils down to just building stats and winning. Dicey Dungeons is a bit on the more mechanical side with more interesting builds. But they are both still fairly generic in the end when it comes down to decision making and boils down to being a stat builders, these games are perfect for casual play tho, and yes, i do think ring of pain is casual with how basic and linear the gameplay is.
One of my favorite games. The pacing feels so good, and there's so many interesting and clever interactions in the gameplay which make the game surprisingly deep compared to what it seems at first sight. Nice to see it back on your channel!
Since you are doing replays of older updated games :D would you like to play Card Survival Tropical Island again ? It had a ton of updates, it would be unrecognizable now!

Ring of Pain is up there with Dicey Dungeons in my list of "games you need to play before making your own".
Dicey Dungeons was really fiddly and tedious at times.

There are so many new and fun builds in this (and the previous update), some of them even reward negative stats very hard.

Anyone find out this: you can give tiny crown to foggy and when he wear it. He has boss symbol and the game tell you need something else.
