Plus pour mixed cement from mixer into a 2 gal bucket... then pour all of bucket (once you've measured and marked on the bucket exactly how much fills a mold) into the mold all in one pour then pack the mold. That streamlines the pouring and totally speeds up the process. His end result is great. But the same result can be done light-years faster on a tarp on the driveway spread about 3 inches apart. Doing them together like that next to each other allows for splashing on the neighboring cast slowing the entire process down. Plus, on the driveway creates a totally flat bottom. HF sells a chisel set for quick cleaning of edges after curing. Even if you choose to cast directly on the ground verses your driveway on a tarp... the mixer is still a game changer. 😊

I did this several years ago along the back of my house, in some places deep, The only difference is I used concrete, and after removing the form troweled the top edges again, and when set up pretty good, misted with water. This gave a nice smooth surface without the rough edges. I had friends who had used them that ask how is the world I got mine to look so good, well that's how!

Die "weiße" Platte dient nicht zum hochheben, sondern zum besseren Lösen der Form. Das ist eine selbstgebastelte Negativform, mit der ich den Beton nach unten rausdrücke. Eigentlich nur eine 6mm Multiplexplatte aus der ich die passenden Ausschnitte ausgesägt und auf eine andere Platte in der richtigen Anordnung aufgeklebt habe. Ist schnell selbst gemacht: Form Kopfüber auf eine Multiplexplatte (oder ähnliches), die Ausschnitte nachgezeichnet, mit der Sichsäge ausgeägt und wieder mit der Form als Schablone auf eine andere Multiplexplatte kleben: fertig.
+Duke Nukem Naja, mit gekauften Pflastersteinen geht das natürlich deutlich schneller. Aber die gibts eben nur in den Standardformen zu erschwinglichen Preisen.

Beim Untergrund musst du nur beachten das er fest ist. Ich nehme nicht an das du im Garten mit deinem Auto rumfahren willst 😊, deswegen reicht der normale Boden. Bei schmaleren Wegen würde ich vorher ganzheitlich eine dünne (4-5cm) Schicht Beton unterziehen, damit dir die einzelnen Elemente nicht wegrutschen können. Eventuell könnte da auch eine dicke Schicht Beton hilfreich sein in die du die Form dann einfach nur reindrückst...
This is for better removal of the mold and is self-constructed. A plywood board to which plywood pieces matching the casting mold cutouts are glued. By placing the casting mold, the casting mold can be easily detached from the concrete and can be removed earlier.
Well...you can do it quickly and get crappy results, like most of the "tutorials I've watched working these forms, or take your time and get a beautiful result to be proud of. I'm for taking the time and paying attention to the details. It's all up to you.

Ich habe meine Terasse ebenfalls auf diese Art gestaltet, nur mit ner anderen Schablone.Knapp 40qm. Mit was sind die Fugen gefüllt? Ich habe Basalt Fugensplit eingekehrt. Nur ist das Problem , wenn wenn die Terrasse mal gefegt werden muss verteilt sich der Spilt auf den Steinen.

There are a million lazy hacks he could’ve used to just slop this together quickly but he didn’t. he is very precise & takes his time (ok a lot of time, but that’s ok) to do it right. I mean, look how good they turned out! There are no air holes, pits, divots, nothing! They look almost polished they’re so smooth in appearance. Great job!

it's a waste of time doing that slow pace good if your not in a tropical country, but not applicable here in hot and humid country you have do it fast so that you'll have no dried out cement mix beside you, love your video, planning to do my driveway.

Keine Sorge. Die ganze Terrasse ist überdacht, da kommt so gut wie kein Wasser hin. Und Frost ist bei uns in den letzten Wintern auch sehr selten :-)

Zementmörtel ist zum mauern und verputzen gedacht. Für Fußboden sollte man lieber Estrichbeton nehmen!

wenn man sich vorab so viel Zement anrührt und bis man so eine Form ausgefüllt hat, wird doch bestimmt das restliche angerührte Zement zu hart, oder?
Keine Sorge, so schnell wird das Zeug nicht hart :-) Da es die Formen sowieso meist im Dreier-Set gibt kann man zügig dran arbeiten.

Ich musste starke Unebenheiten am bereits vorhandenen Untergrund nivellieren. Hab drei Formen mit einem 40kg Sack befüllt. Grüße

Ich würde Estrichbeton nehmen und erst den Beton auf dem Boden verteilen Schablone drauf und abziehen geht schneller🤔😜
