Hi Stuart. This was a very clear and helpful video. I have one question: you mentioned electric guitar strings can last up to a year but in what way should you maintain them. Mine are on for 4 months and there is some rust/gunk on them. How do I avoid this, or is this not a big issue? Thanks again!

More than a tone knob, i would say that the one on the guitar is more of a gain knob, bc it's the signal entering the amp. Great video btw

the dark muddy tone with the neck pickup along with the tone knob lowered is not very ideal for many rock genres or when you use a lot of gain, but it you play something like jazz with a clean tone, then it is very useful to get the sound you want.
