I have Argentina and Canada coming out of group a, Venezuela and Ecuador coming out of group B, Uruguay and USA coming out of group C, and Columbia and Costa Rica coming out of group. When the United States hosted this tournament in 2016 with almost the same 16 teams Brazil gotten grouped and much easier group than they are in this time… This Brazil team I’d argue is even worse than in 2016. This is both the worst Brazil and worst Mexico team that there has been in decades, if not ever. Right now Brazil as it stands is probably not going to make the next World Cup… They are clinging on to the sixth and final World Cup spot on goal difference a third of the way through South American World Cup qualifying. Nobody is expecting Costa Rica to do a single thing because they are the youngest and most inexperienced and the lowest market value team in the entire competition but I think that that makes them dangerous. Obviously Columbia is definitely getting out of that group. they have not lost in 23 straight games. Paraguay is a pretty dangerous team with several top Premier league talents, but they struggle when they don’t play at home for some reason. I think that group is both the group of death and the group where literally any two of those four teams can get out of.
brazil are in a very difficult group. the other teams are ones that if on the day they turn up are hard to get a result from. i didnt know that brazil are struggling so much, tbh it is the weakest side ive seen them have in years (apart from bruno guimaraes). no wonder ronaldinho has given up
I actually thought Canada played better than Argentina did during the game. Argentina had both more shots and more shots on goal, but Canada‘s opportunities were much better and much clearer. Almost every chance that Canada had it was harder to miss them to score and they managed to miss every single one of them. They also completely shut messy down. It turns out that if you take angel Di Maria and Lionel Messi away from Argentina the other nine players arent as good as you think they are.
i did see a lot of memes about how poor messi's finishing is. maybe he is finally declining. for portugal its like ronaldo isnt there they could do without him. the icons are falling
@@thepartydeacon87 Messi is still great and at the top of his game. Canada just had a perfectly executed game plan to take him completely out of the game. When it comes to Cristiano Ronaldo, it just goes to show what I’ve been saying all along that the Saudi league is not a legitimate league. He does not look fit, he does not look like his capable of competing with even mid-level European competition… We are not seeing that problem with Messi yet.
