The fact that the audience prevents Amanda from being heard,it is in line with a statement made by Simon Cowell when he watched My Way in the semi-final. It was the performance of My Way, that made David Foster invite Sydnie Christmas to the show celebrating his 75th birthday, which already has 283,000 views.
Sydnie is so incredible; she has tried for years, and was always top notch, and then Annabel Williams, her BGT voice coach, whom she now still works with, helped her bring this out: utter perfection. Sydnie spoke about this on breakfast TV just after this glorious night. In the after party of the finals night Amanda said on video also that she herself was thinking, as Sydnie sang, "Why of why, can't I?"...: "Yes, you can, you can now." There are the short videos on youtube of that after party, too. Hope you feel much better very soon: you have many of Sydnie's music videos to look at still, now, starting with her own cover of My Way in the semi-final, before her own video of that song. Her album brings out her huge range of talent: a talent hidden in her quirky, English personality.

I am hoping you would consider checking out a young lady by the name of Charlotte Summers! (youtube) She has an incredible voice. Her version of Adele's Million years will blow you away! talk about vocal range!

Sorry I can't agree with you regarding her Broadway/West End prospects. Why sing the same few songs night after night, week after week, possibly for years on end, when she would be much more free to sing whatever show tunes she felt like on any given night, and sing them Her Way, with lots of other tunes (like My Way, never a show tune) on a schedule she determines. The concert stage is her destiny, with Barbra and Celine.

I agree 100% (or more)!!! But let's see her Panto experience next month.
