What an awesome testimony from this legendary talent. Glory to God! I was really blessed by the things Mr. Ladd shared about The Lord. Thank you so much!
I've been in awe of Mr. Ladd since I was 8 years old. Saw him wrestle a lot in the late 60s and early 70s. He had some epic matches with the Sheik at Cobo Arena. Great performer, greater man.
Early sixties he set the Texas Territory on fire with his matches vs Fritz Von Erich ! The loudest pop I ever heard was a sold out Northside Colosseum Ft. Worth Texas. Main event 2 out of 3 falls. They were fighting all over the arena. Truly a legend inside and out of the ring. Great man for sure, all time great. RIP Big Cat !
all i can say is...What a tremendous Man....i am in complete awe of this guy....we could all learn a lot from his wisdom and his take on life and America.....he says he loved his youth and his upbringing....so that alone shows you all the race baiters are totally full of crap...anyways....i love hearing from guys like this...Ernie Ladd in my opinion was a giant of a man...in character and talent....i wish we had more like him....he was just fabulous
I watched him in the AWA and WWA as a kid in the 70's. Great mic skills, sold with the best of them; he bled like a stuck pig for Bruiser. One of the best ever.
In my 60 years of following wrestling Mr. Ladd is the most athletic big man I've ever seen. And that was on two knees that had one knee worth of cartilage between them. He was a freak physically and mentally. His induction of Bobo Brazil into the WWE HOF was a joy to watch. Rest Easy Mr. Ladd.
The world will never see another versatile man like this. RIP Big Cat
The greatest! Thanks for sharing!!!
It's an Honor to listen to this man!!!! Me and millions of fans
enjoyed Saturday Wrestling!!
THANKS!!!
Ernie Ladd, despite his in ring persona he was a true southern gentleman.
I truly loved everything about the Big Cat. Legend and draw wherever he went.
This was my cousin. I miss this man so much
I miss him too! It’s a shame how long it took for him to get his flowers! He was way ahead of his time! A black booker in those days!

Ernie Ladd is one hell of a man!
Dominic DeNucci… I went to school with his nephew… Tommy… Great wrestler had a privilege of meeting him once great guy
Dominic was a nice guy but he sucked as a wrestler
Dominic Dinucci was a great wrestler he wrestled a lot in the Pittsburgh area. They said he was a cousin to Bruno Sammartino
I wish I could’ve met this dude.
Big Cat, Ernie Ladd
🙏🏽🪦 What a great well ahead of his time!
Ernest was the greatest of all time.....
Was a good one

Easily a guy who'd be making $30,000,000 playing these days. Sub 5.0 second 40 at 325 lbs 6'10"? forget it

Loved it when he took Rufus R Jones $1000 and just walked out of the ring.
Same thing Hulk Hogan said about Tony Atlas
