The worldwound is sort of stitched to Golarion becoming a point for the ascended protagonist realm. considering it needs yours or areelu's soul to close and everyone is now immortal its pretty much a gateway to your realm. depending on the ending it could be a good thing or ruinous.
Your ascension need a realm.. basically you become a demon lord like power. But with holy power.. like every god and demon lord need his own realm. You need it too
Okay im seriously lost here. I finished my first playthrough with Angel but i dont even get this option with Aarelu. What did i do wrong? I can either choose to sacrifice myself or walk away. What did i miss?
hey there, this is a late answere i know, but maybe someone else will find it useful also. okey so i was asking myself the same question, the same thing happened for me. so i replayed that last part of the game and i chose different dialog options when talking to areelu before her fight. that got me the option to sacrifice her instead. i said" i cannot justify your actions, but i understand them" and also" i am my own person not your child, but i still feel a connection with you" i am not completely sure but i think this is what you need to say for the other dialog options. this did also let me fight Diskari one last time and the ending after was a bit different as well. this felt so much better, like the correct ending for my characters. it was worth to go back to do this.
Exactly why I wouldn’t ascend with areluu. Millions of people dead for her own selfish reasons. And she not only gets away with it but benefits from it? A big no no for me
I disagree. In fact, Arilu is actually the main character of this story. She had done the impossible. Challenged the tyranny of the very laws of the universe. And at the same time, in fact, defeated the original evil. She found a way to turn the power of the most terrifying creatures of the universe, the lords of the abyss, into pure good. Despite the collateral damage, her rebellion against the very nature of things is a truly heroic and kind act, and by doing it, she does not hesitate, bravely goes to death in the end. By ascending according to her plan, you are actually fulfilling the golden dragon's plan, which leaves the gap open so that the demons have a chance to ascend. She was not guided by good intentions, but in fact, she is the kindest hero of all in the universe, because only she alone had the courage to challenge the very laws of the universe, which generate, among other things, all the evil in the world. This is pure, unclouded goodness and pure freedom.
@@ГэвинМагнус-ц7ж "Tyranny"? Those laws were perfectly just and kept the universe from falling apart. That selfish witch tore the fabric of reality apart for her own petty purposes. She doesn't turn anyone good. The only ending which does that is the gold dragon. Now, she gold dragon transformation was possible because of her experiment, but only in part. The other half of it had to come from the teachings of a gold dragon himself, which she had nothing to do with.
Once u ascend, u will have more enemies, why not recruit her as your "special employee", she's damn right about lord/gods dont want u to get stronger, prefer be weaker, except Iomadae, who help humanity a lot. Pharasma b*tch did nothing =)))

All Ascension endings with Areelu are at least mildly evil. She committed unspeakable crimes, and gets away with them.
