    I am a therapist, and this was an excellent analysis! A person attracts the love they think they deserve, and Jennifer is lost within and is trying to heal that extrovertedly instead of spending time with herself and looking within.

      My positive mindset: get this: I’m not a therapist
      A person attracts the love they think they deserve
      And Jennifer is a woman IN total control of herself and her emotions, relationships , motherhood, work ethic etc.
      And her intention is to spread love joy kindness
      Because I know that is mine so it exists 😊

      @@Nichwilly23 I understand why you may think that, but it is challenging to watch someone in pain going around the issues of their life instead of through it.

    You hit the nail on the head. She keeps talking about how she had to go through this and that to get where she is but the truth is she’s in the same place. One of the key examples of that is when she got on stage and she was gushing over Ben I’m like why are you gushing over him when you’re the one that did all the work she just has absolutely no self-love or self-worth and I just don’t understand why she’s saying that you made me believe in myself you need to believe in yourself she’s acting in the movie like she learned, and she spend time alone, and she never spend time alone ever.

    The previews keep popping on my TV, saying that we asked about her being a hopeless romantic, and I gotta say, the thought never crossed my mind. It's actually never come up in conversations that I've ever had or ever overheard anyone else talking about it. Instead of her doing a movie about something relevant. It feels like she's trying to gaslight us into believing that we had these questions that we didn't have. Do you know how many people habitually switch partners. It's so common that I've never been invested in any celebrity's relationship.

    The clips show that it's all over the place, so I'm not interested in watching. I'm confused because she has not been alone and does not seem to have learned to love herself first. It seems she has still placed all her happiness in her husband. She's telling the audience she learned she had to love herself first before she could find "true love", but has she really? I don't think so. I do hope her marriage with Ben Affleck works out. It would be devastating for her, I'm sure, if it didn't.

      You’re both off track. “ true love “ is self love. Why can’t you believe what she says is true for her. Your opinion is irrelevant. It’s HER belief about HERSELF. You miss the entire point of her film. All the failed relationships came down to one, her and Ben’s. The one she always wanted. Ben always look unhappy because of the paparazzi and cameras are always looking and he hates that. Some people don’t mind others do, he does. Yes he’s a public figure, yes he’s an actor but it doesn’t mean you have to like it and pretend you do.

I ended thinking, she says she's an "artist." So perhaps I dont get her artistry. Heavily influenced by Britney and some old school Miss Janet plus her own analysis of her relationships disguised as "I'm a hopeless romantic." Girl.... Loved your take and honesty 100%. I have to give it to you, watching the entire movie, I am full latina and I don't give a care about her, I am not proud about nothing of her, I thing she is a good looking woman yet have no talent, I am guessing with help from people and her good looks seems like she has learn how to navigate the show businesses machine. If somebody has to spend all that money to make a movie to justified all her relationships... man! that is wrong (Elizabeth Taylor didn't do) but she has had poor choices making (producing, writing and acting) movies like "El cantante" Jlo's career is full of mishaps from the association with criminal P diddy (and I'm sure Jlo didnt get away without his abuse) to marring the man that not only cheat on her but call their engagement off (what can go wrong)

    I think a lot of singers these days are not great singers and they have become very successful and have number one songs and awards. But, for the past decade and a half. The new Queen of Pop just won album of the year at this yrs Grammys and I think her voice is extremely mediocre and very overrated as an artist. I think Jlo is a very talented dancer and actress, as a singer she’s ok. But, her songs are good. The trend in music is rapping and how good and relateable your songs are. It’s not even about how incredible and dynamic your voice is. I blame the internet. Everything is so accessible and out there all in one little portable device. Everything is by numbers. The higher the numbers, that’s where the money is at. Jlo is an artist. She’s not perfect but she is telling a story. Everyone has their opinions and she can’t help it, she’s a superstar and she earned it

    • @jakestroll6518
      @jakestroll6518 8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Jlo is a talented actress. She is however the opposite of a good singer. A nasally thin voice that needs a great producer and lots of layering of real singers voices beneath hers. Puff Daddy and then Tony Motolla really helped to steal voices and songs on her behalf and then pair her with genius sound engineers. That’s the true secret to Jlos music career. So now 25 years later, she’s lost the industry top players who understood her weakness. Plus TikTok will expose her if she lipsyncs to someone else’s voice. So we are stuck with a terrible sounding album that exposes what a fraud her music career was. The movie is fine in the acting parts because she genuinely can act but the singing is painful and the lyrics cringe.

    A hopeless romantic is someone who projects onto others what they hope to find in themselves. The way you seek that person who will finally see the real you and love and cherish you while keeping enough space for the sexual tension and growth. Looking for that perfect formula that lasts forever. Magical thinking is a response to OCD - Jen was raised to be a workaholic so as she obsessively works that same energy plays into relationships where everything has to be building to the next magical thing. I imagine it would be hard to just relax and be as her partner. Great review😘

    I appreciate Jennifer Lopez' work ethic and talent. I do think she is very talented! The dance scenes in the movie were beautiful and as a dancer, I assure you quite difficult! She is 54 and dances batter than ever. JLO is human; we all make so many mistakes along the way. I hope she finds true happiness and maybe creating this project, will lead her there...to real joy and her true self. It is hard to know of she and Ben will last, because, I agree he always appears to be very serious and unhappy, as if it is too much to smile alongside his beautiful wife. Who knows what truly happens behind closed doors with these two, or any of us. I hope they make it, but he just seems so upset often. At first I found the movie chaotic and strange with Jay Sherry, Jane Fonda, and the others as the zodiac signs, but then I got into it like a fantasy movie and for the DANCE!...The "Broken Like me Segment" was my favorite and a lot of us can prob relate to that and the Singing In the rain routine too. Was that her house in the movie? I thought it a was glorious setting; like a palace. It is very possible JLO may have narcissistic tendencies or NPD. I have occasionaly wondered that myself, though I have liked her since day one and I find her motivational as a dancer and an excellent performer. Maybe fame and deep hunger for love and adoration changes people? Just imagine being adored by the multitudes? It must be really strange. . I notice her relationship with her mother, which appears strained. That is a whole other issue, though it would tie together with JLO's behavior today. Have a blessed evening. Peace.
