@@MrCrazyhighway Thanks for the advise. Can be done easily with shorter rods. Let me ask you back a question. If you are alone and you got a hook set. Can you advise how you can remove the bell on such a long rod while keeping tension on the line to not let the fish drop or throw hook?
@AJVMFISHING ,Just take your time.If you have a good set up,don't worry much.God has set up what is yours and what is not.If you're a believer.I started fishing in 85 till now.Every professional surfcaster using long rod never used a bell, only a tip light. That's why I advice you whenever you're use a bell on your long rod, remove it first if you had a hook up.Believe me,you'll be respected by other angler as you are not disturbing their fishing mood and they will know you're an experience angler. That's one of fishing ethica as an Angler,be it in shore or offshore,Cheers bro..😉👍🎣
@@MrCrazyhighway Hmm, does not make sense to me on how taking your time can magically remove the bell from the other end of your long rod 😅Instead it can be used to fight the fish properly without worrying much about the bell sound. It would be good if someone can remove the bell for you by tilting down the rod aint it? Bells are used to alert angler of a bite specially if there are not many people to keep a look out of your rods with only a light stick on. Chances your rod will be swimming together witht he fish you hook I feel. Just my 10cent opinion 👌😌
@@AJVMFISHING,That's the duty of your reels drag & the drag alarm bro.Take your time to remove your bell as in don't rush, set your drag properly & your rod won't fly to the sea.My biggest catch is 30kg stingray at Changi Commando Camp, back in '99..
@@hummit some of my lights requires double press/click to turn on. To prevent accidental usage while in your bag. While this new light is just a single press auto👌🏼
@@Fishing-007 There are designated camping sites at Ubin where you can go and camp straight. Police officers will do their usual patrol to check on individuals and to make sure that they are safe 👌🏼
Another fishing trip, another year-end. Relax, friends gathering and have lots of merry, holly, jolly!
Just an advice bro, once you get a hook up,remove you bell. That's what every angler should know..
