Man I washed my hair first time in two months Easter Sunday (two strand twist) only cause I was waiting to get a retwist but I said forget it. My hair needed washed. I put a stocking cap on and washed that mug. BOY IT FAULT SO GOOD!!! Hair stayed together. I sat under the dryer for about 15 minutes then let the sun dry it out the rest. My hair felt like it had so much more life and bounce to it. LOCA GANG 🔒🔒

For my hair I use gel or aloe whichever I have on hand . Look at my sections . For the back of my hair I had to buy a extra mirror. grab the loc or section and turn it clock wise. Make sure your hair isn't dry. I would recommend watching some videos before you do it . Just to see it a few times a d different ways .But you will get the hang of it . You got this 🙌🙌🙌
I tried to wash my starter locs yesterday because my scalp was itchy (I got two strand twists). Let's just say I had to start all over again. Thank goodness my mom does my hair so I don't have to pay a cent.
I’m about to do my first wash soon. I was recommended to use a good oil mixed in a spray bottle with water to moisturize every few days, which has helped with any sort of dryness. I saw another method where you keep the barrel twists (any style) in for the wash and then take them out a few days later.
Just washed my hair with tree tea , karatin ,argon, marula and biotin coconut as my main ingredients I didn't do the stocking cap method. I did Patty down with a towel which is something I usually don't do. And then I put my dry do rag on. I will totally considered a du-rag nothing just to keep them style the same way
I started mine yesterday. I have comb coils. My stylist told me to wait two months to wash at my next retwist and use seabreeze. I’m terrified going that long. Love your vibe 🔒🔒💯
The way you get people to like the like button kills me😂 i personally never liked vids until i started youtube and now im like bruh....4,000 views 30 likes... hellooooooo😂 , great vid bro🔒
I am only 8 days with my starter locs and planned on washing them for the first time 3 weeks from now. I helped the movers move my property out of my apartment and got dirty. I felt disgusting so I washed them in the shower. My locs are in a cornrow style and in a ponytail so I didn’t ruin my locs. Hair smells great again and now I will wait to wash at my next appointment.
Great video as usual chief. My loctician said I was washing my hair too often, so I have slowed down considerably. I do see some flakes here and there, I want my locks to be compact before I start washing it frequently again. I'm not sure if that's a good strategy.
I’m good lol last time I tried to wash even with a wig cap all them shits got unravel and I had to restart all over again wever since then I been waiting for them to loc and haven’t washed them. I just wait for the retwist for that
Is there a way to wash starter locs without the srhinkage after...like what if I could just wash the scalp without touching my starter locs...my starter locs are about 5 inches long when dry but once they get wet, they shrink to like 3 inches...
Can I ask a question about that? I had washed my starter locs after only day 4 in the process (itching was bad) and they managed to stay together pretty well but at the roots alot of that tight twist curl unraveled a bit but the dreads stayed and didn’t unravel to much at all.but anyways my question is do I need to go ahead and do my own lil self retwist or is this just the process and I should let it be before I see my loctican
I got my locs exactly a week ago, i am prone to dandruff like if i dont shower for 2 days they start to appear. I live in Dubai so it is pretty hot and sweaty here. Any advice?
Hello !!! so I am an athlete I run track and I sweat ALOT I have only had my starter logs (finger coils) in for about 12 days buttt there's definitely dirt and its starting to itch. Would it be best for me to wash a bit sooner since I am an athlete or should I wait

About to be a 1month in on the 12th my first retwist is tmmrw is it cool for me to wash my hair before I go or no & I also got this product called Jamaican mango and lime spray oil should I use that for my retwist?
I got starter locs my wife used a crochet needle and Insta locced them. I’ve had em for maybe 4-5 days and I’ve seen videos that said you can wash instant locs right after you get them done but I’m a little hesitant. What’s your best advice?
Ive washed my locks 2 times now since got them done. Both times they get hella fuzzy and I have to wait till they dry to crochet the little hairs back in. BUT, I watched a different video on locks and the lady said DO NOT crochet your loss when they're dry so what do I do? And also Vinny, I use Tropical Roots Lock gel but it doesn't do anything. Any advice?
I literally just washed my hair and it shrunk first my hair it was to my eyes now it’s on my eyebrows and I didn’t know it need to get retwisted but she said wait 1 month and I did and the person who did my hair is booked for 2 months now I’m scared if my hair will not go back to the way it was. I’m only like 13 years old and I didn’t know all of this I’ll try next time
Ayo Vinny i think this might be kind of obvious but I guess this might not work when your starter locs are braided on a basic style right? 🤔🤔 cuz for example I have my starter locs braided on a two barrel roll so I guess I doesn’t work unless I take of the braids 🤷🏽♂️🤷🏽♂️
