Thanks for the educative information you are giving here. God bless you. My question is that is Multivax P plus a vaccine that must be stored in the fridge or freezer?
We have similar meds here, majority are not labeled for goats. Great video. Goats looking beautiful 😍 For foot rot preventative I'm using a cobalt block it's a big blue block, its B12. I've read raw goat milk is good for eye issues and used recently on my big buck it cleared up within a couple days of rinsing eye in milk.
Wow i didn’t know that, i think i will definitely try goat milk to clear pink eye next time. Thank you for sharing, about the cobalt block i have never seen it locally but i will ask around the agric shop if they do have them. So tell me more about the block, the gots just lick it and it prevents foot-rot?
@@RoseMoFarm yes its a big lick block, 30lb. Vitamin B12 aka cobalamin/cobalt is important for fertility, anemia. Not every place here even carries it. The B vitamins are very important in goats health. I have also learned with increased vitamin A, D, E, B12 and minerals zinc, copper, manganese you have healthier animals. I did treat my buck with eye puncture injury with the la200 but after 5 days it didn't seem to heal until after I put goat milk 2 doses in eye, goat milk is high in Vitamin A. Vitamin A deficiency is said to be reason pink eye bacteria is able to infect the eye, idk the science but some of the most simple things can keep goats healthy.
@@WhiteShouldersFarmstead wow this is why i love you channel thank and thank you so much. I have learned something so valuable, am still new in goat farming and everyday is a learning curve. 🙏🙏🙏
@@RoseMoFarm yes goats are a learning experience, I've done a lot of research on them, here many of our veterinarians are not up on goats. I'm happy to pass my knowledge along.

@@RoseMoFarmI'm sure the video will get lots of views. Your channel is unique and stands out. People making a video about goat farming is like telling a story but yours covers pain points and tell the basic things covering all important things. I hope that will be very important for people who want to start a goat farm. Because newbies worry about loss means they are afraid their goats will die or not be healthy, and the solution is the right Medication. Knowing how to take care of and keep safe from all kinds of sicknesses is the thing one can see success in advance. I wanted to start with around 100 goats, I don't know if it's good for a starter.

Greetings, I am in Scotland but heading to the Gambia. How can I get this medication for My goats? I couldn't get them anywhere in the UK. Could you kindly give me agri shop website, email or contact details. You talk sense regarding the medications. I am desperate for oxytetracycline, AD3E and Iverject. Please please.
Does it have wound on the mouth and lips if that is correct thats Orf. Spray the affected areas with an iodine spray daily. Hard scabs can be softened with Vaseline or glycerine to make it easier for the animals to eat. If it persist you can liaise with your VET.
Wow thank you brother, very informative vlog.. If i may add, i would really appreciate if you could include labels of the products, or just the product name is fine.. you could put it on the comment section.. Again, thank you
Yes you have good knowledge of it. But you should have been more explanatory as to how to use the drugs by showing us the name of drugs one by one, state whether it is by injection or to be mixed inside water for the goat. This will enable a beginner like me to have a full grasp of it. Honestly I didn't understand most of the things because I am a beginner.
I have a question, in biblical days my forefathers Abraham Isaac and Jacob, there was no such thing as vaccinations as they do today such as injections and so forth. They had knowledge of different herbs for any kind of sickness for animals. Vaccinations is a western idea. So my question is how can we go back to the old ways????
