Mpox outbreak spreads to Europe, Asia

The Democratic Republic of Congo says an Mpox outbreak has killed 548 people this year and health experts say the epicenter of the outbreak is in Goma where cases continue to rise. The first cases of the virus's more dangerous variant outside Africa were recorded in Sweden and Pakistan.
Jean-Claude, a Corus International World Health Program specialist, works with a team that has extensive experience on infectious diseases in Goma and will give insight on what is happening on the ground and what health care experts are doing to help those affected and stop the spread of the virus.
