what materials have you found work best to emboss the hot foil onto?

This was so helpful : ) love your artwork.. do you need to seal the gold leaf to prevent it from wearing away? or does the heat bond it strong enough to seal it on permanently? TY! 🙂
i think it depends on the surface! i have no issues when its on paper cardstock. as for faux/leather surface it is a bit of a hit and miss. hope that helps!
