What I learned from closely listening to Aaron's reviews: Every crowd-pleasing and easy to wear fragrance that Aaron respects but wouldn't wear himself - that's probably one for me. And every fragrance that Aaron really liked and praised - I tried 3 or 4 of them and they're just not my taste. Too excentric let's say. So this Eros Flame will probably amaze me when I check it out 😄

By far the best Eros and in fact the first I owned. Upon buying the original after so many reviewers saying it was better than Flame I was somewhat disappointed. Flame is definitely more mature and artistically creative imo.
smells like one of the not so good cheap lynx deodorants i grew up with, eros flame couldnt hold a candle to the original eros, and even that took 2 years for me to come around 2, im EXTRELELY fussy i dont like anything, i should be paid to tell people whats good and what isnt in life in general but lesser people are going to like lesser things i guess
The opening comes togheter and gives a juice mashup off ripe and fresh orange and mandarin that gives it a very juicy touch.. And The peppery note is strong.. It strings the nose in a good way
I wear this as a work scent on days when I just want to grab and go. I will say this about it though... I have got a lot of positive feedback from the ladies on this one so if your into that sort of thing you can't go wrong with eros 🔥

Yeah, my aunt complimented me on how good I smelled. I told her just the dry down was good and my mother and aunt had no idea what I was talking about 🤣🤣
I have this one. I'm not crazy about the opening ( the mandarin is a bit too strong for me ) but I love the dry down. The projection is great and it lasts a good amount of time on my skin. Thanks for the review Aaron.
I own and do enjoy the original Eros. It can be a difficult wear for many occasions, but it's great for a warm, breezy day out in the open air with friends.

Awesome. Noticed they went right to EDP concentration. I bought this 200ml soon as it came out. Love this one as you get that citrus opening and the almost same end as the original. Thank you for the reviews. Hope you address the grand slams Armaf are throwing out. I just got Armaf Sillage, and I'm astonished how much it is not only Sliver Mountain Water, but better in my opinion. I get epic performance and radiates 12 feet.
My absolute favorite Versace Eros.My top 2 Versace fragrances actually. Eros flame and Pour Homme Oud. I actually find this to be a great fall and winter fragrance as it's performance and projection of My skin is a 10 hr fragrance that cuts right through the cold.
I haven’t tried flame but I just bought Eros edp 2 days ago and im so happy I blind bought it. Something you can’t wear as a signature scent but I’ll definitely be wearing it for date nights and to the club and bar.

This is of topic but I would like to ask you about keeping fragrances in a fridge,I live in Australia and although we are in winter at the moment,our summers are crazy hot and owing a few niche brands I want to protect them.
Cool idea. (Shame) have you tried it and why not? Throw a blue frag in the fridge, if nothing else spraying it on when the sun is hot might be refreshing. Gonna put some in right now. Will be back to report my findings.

I liked this one far better than the original. The original to me, is like smelling an alcoholic drink that's made you sick before and now every time you smell it triggers your gag reflex 😂 this one is cool though, bang on again bro.
Gotta day that I agree with Aaron's overall assessment of Eros Flame. I also agree this may have been more interesting with a touch of cinnamon or a more perceivable pepper note.
Hello Aroon I saw your video and I have a question about this one: Is it normal that I am not noticing it when I do five full sprays? I just opened the bottled so to speak, these are the first sprays. But it is unnoticeable! I cannot feel it! Why? I mean for sure Eros Flame is a good performer... I tried it on skin at douglas and it was. By genetics, by default, this has to be a good performer. Now, why in your opinion my bottle is behaving this way? Is it because it is new? Or reformulated? In any case, I just like so much the scent, it is uplifting, also sexy-ish in a way. Happy vibes. I am though sad because I cant feel it and I think that no matter the reformulations, this IS a strong projecting fragrance like Eros Edp. The same thing happened to me with le male le parfum. Almost unnoticeable at the start, then it became more and more noticeable until normalcy. Has it been the case with you aswell with new fragrances? Or, as a parfum creator, what do you think the cause is? Do I have to return it or will it get to normalcy in terms of performances?
hi aaron. this doesnt sound like my cup of tea, but then i like patchulli noir, daddy, oud etc i was thinking would be great if you did a video on layering - to include what kind of fragrance notes are good to combine eg rose and oud or resins and vanilla etc and then also move onto your own fragrances and what would work toghether for example you mentioned "oud" would work as a great base to any of your other oud fragrances i think you also said slut layered on top of deviant- or have i remembered that wrong. you know what i found, purely by accident - your blood orange on top of tom ford tobacco vanille - AMAZING - got some mad compliments. the citrus adds some lift and lightness to the heavier tom ford - i reommend it to anyone who's got these 2 frags

This absolutely light enough for Summer. I maybe wouldn't wear in over 90°F, but 70-80°F it's totally fine. Just don't over spray and you'll pull all day. In 90°F you need to wear air. Get Dior pour homme cologne or Versace pour homme or YSL l'homme cologne bleue or Armani Acqua di Gio Essenza or CK eternity summer

Hi everyone. I have question about the alcohol percentage (volume) in fragrances. So if we get the conception of the following; EDT 4-8% oils EDP 8-15% oils PARFUM 15-20% EXTRAIT 20-30%. (Not accurate but avarage percentage) Then how you can explain that some PARFUM fragrances got 80% alcohol but also contain water (aqua) as mentioned in the ingredients. Also, how can Versace Eros EDP have 70% alcohol as displayed on the box but is EDP concentration??! Same as Eros Flame (71%) Does the fixatives, preservatives and screen protecting chemicals count as part of the oils concentration or it's completely different?? Because a fragrance on avarage contains 3-5% water, as being EDP contains let's say 15% oils plus 70% alcohol it's gonna be 88-90% of the whole Eros EDP fragrance. What is the rest?? Or the whole conception sucks and as I am thinking it's mostly how it acts on the skin and how it wears. Fresh and effervescent edt with the longevity of EDP is what EDT INTENSE meant to be for example. Or take other example - Roja Elysium Parfum Cologne. Freshness of cologne and longevity and intensity of parfum is how Roja Dove explained it. What's you thoughts and is anyone with genuine knowledge about this matter?
@@deryas1844 I think flame lasts longer than Edt and EDP of Eros. Original Eros I love but I burn it off fast on me. I run hot and burn off most fragrances quickly.

I have this stuff on now and it just smells like one of the not so good cheap lynx deoderants i grew up with, everyones so different its crazy, i rely on the youtube frag community for recommendations but strangely the ones i randomly chose a sample of while buying others tend to be the ones i like and 99 percent of the recommended ones are terrible, im in the southern hemisphere maybe that has something to do with it, i also have extremely fussy tastes, there are so many fragrances i see when looking at samples that nobody talks about that it feels overwhelming to just try things for myself god im ocd i cant handle it lol its hard to hear somebody with such a deep understanding of fragrances like yourself speak highly of something so boring, but after listening further i see you just like to see the positive in everything so that makes me feel a little better haha, id give it a 6/10 and thats being nice for me
I like the original better I’ve only wore this once and didn’t like it at all nether did my girl but I feel like it’s the type of fragrance to grow on you
Yes, I would also throw spicy compounds in it to make it more interesting, but I would pick the heavier Eugenols instead. I'm very fond of the red woody spicy frags lately.

Hi JW. Have you tried Escentric Molecules line? They are very suble and minamalistic, not loud or aggressive. Also Tam Dao and frags with sandlewood or tea notes are mellow and laid back.
@@keithgray1221 thank you for the recommendations! I have actually tried molecule 01 and actually got complimented on it, but the downside to that is that I could barely smell it on myself so I didn’t know how much to spray on.

Very interesting. You'd think with the name "flame" it would be a more smokey or tobacco type fragrance. At least that's where my head went when I first heard about this one. I wonder why they went with that name if it's more of a clean scent. I'm glad I watched this cause I was almost going to blind buy it and that would've been a waste and disappointment...
Aaron I'm a 51 year old FRAGRANCE lover. I've been wearing fragrances since I was 16 in high school. Over the years and decades my views on fragrances have changed dramatically. As with this fragrance you just reviewed along with about 70% of other designer fragrances I don't see fit for the price point. These large retail stores like Macy's and Nordstrom sell a lot of overpriced, underperforming fragrances. I cannot understand how a person can spend between $50 - $100 on a fragrance that projects maybe 3" for 30 minutes and then becomes a skin scent within 2 - 3 hours. The initial smell of many of these designer fragrances are very nice and alluring, but only for maybe 30 minutes. I've tested over 100 different brands and their flankers over the last 3 years. I'd say maybe 15 fragrances out of 200 were worth the money. Now all I buy is niche fragrances event though they cost 50 to 100% more than these other designers do. The niche brands have really excellent projection, sillage and longevity as well. I use many less sprays with niche so the bottles last longer.
Great insights sir. So what would you recommend for a guy in their 20s like me who's starting off? Like top 5-10 designers? Right now I just have 5ml decants of ADG Essenza, BDC Parfum, and Office for Men.

Fresh and effervescent edt with the longevity of EDP is what EDT INTENSE meant to be for example. Or take other example - Roja Elysium Parfum Cologne. Freshness of cologne and longevity and intensity of parfum is how Roja Dove explained it.

Love this fragrance I bought the 200ml I have Eros EDT and EDP and flame 🔥 is my favorite of the three.
what do you think about performance and sillage of both? edt and flame?
@@deryas1844 I think flame lasts longer than Edt and EDP of Eros. Original Eros I love but I burn it off fast on me. I run hot and burn off most fragrances quickly.
@@zarlodious1 Same I’ve got similar issue with fragrances. So far Wanted by night, Eros Flame and Gucci intense Oud have so far been pretty and the original mugler but due to my heat and very sweet projection gives me a headache
I have this stuff on now and it just smells like one of the not so good cheap lynx deoderants i grew up with, everyones so different its crazy, i rely on the youtube frag community for recommendations but strangely the ones i randomly chose a sample of while buying others tend to be the ones i like and 99 percent of the recommended ones are terrible, im in the southern hemisphere maybe that has something to do with it, i also have extremely fussy tastes, there are so many fragrances i see when looking at samples that nobody talks about that it feels overwhelming to just try things for myself god im ocd i cant handle it lol its hard to hear somebody with such a deep understanding of fragrances like yourself speak highly of something so boring, but after listening further i see you just like to see the positive in everything so that makes me feel a little better haha, id give it a 6/10 and thats being nice for me

Yes, I would also throw spicy compounds in it to make it more interesting, but I would pick the heavier Eugenols instead. I'm very fond of the red woody spicy frags lately.

Of mine homme and Oud are beautiful. They are quite and long lasting and don’t smash you and others in the face. But is more for your enjoyment.
Hi JW. Have you tried Escentric Molecules line? They are very suble and minamalistic, not loud or aggressive. Also Tam Dao and frags with sandlewood or tea notes are mellow and laid back.
@@keithgray1221 thank you for the recommendations! I have actually tried molecule 01 and actually got complimented on it, but the downside to that is that I could barely smell it on myself so I didn’t know how much to spray on.

Very interesting. You'd think with the name "flame" it would be a more smokey or tobacco type fragrance. At least that's where my head went when I first heard about this one. I wonder why they went with that name if it's more of a clean scent. I'm glad I watched this cause I was almost going to blind buy it and that would've been a waste and disappointment...
Aaron I'm a 51 year old FRAGRANCE lover. I've been wearing fragrances since I was 16 in high school. Over the years and decades my views on fragrances have changed dramatically. As with this fragrance you just reviewed along with about 70% of other designer fragrances I don't see fit for the price point. These large retail stores like Macy's and Nordstrom sell a lot of overpriced, underperforming fragrances. I cannot understand how a person can spend between $50 - $100 on a fragrance that projects maybe 3" for 30 minutes and then becomes a skin scent within 2 - 3 hours. The initial smell of many of these designer fragrances are very nice and alluring, but only for maybe 30 minutes. I've tested over 100 different brands and their flankers over the last 3 years. I'd say maybe 15 fragrances out of 200 were worth the money. Now all I buy is niche fragrances event though they cost 50 to 100% more than these other designers do. The niche brands have really excellent projection, sillage and longevity as well. I use many less sprays with niche so the bottles last longer.
Great insights sir. So what would you recommend for a guy in their 20s like me who's starting off? Like top 5-10 designers? Right now I just have 5ml decants of ADG Essenza, BDC Parfum, and Office for Men.

Just picked this one up in a Black Friday sale. The more I wear it the more I think it smells Christmassy. I think it's the mix of that deep orange smell with the warm spices. It's growing on me. I like overspraying this one!
