In my younger days, I had sailed in merchant ships in Pacific Ocean passing by these islands and have also read about them in history of war in Pacific in WWII.
Was always curious about them but never got chance to visit.Thanks Navankur and Paramveer, you have shown me what I longed for!

I been to Kiribati many years ago.....when Navankur and Paramveer must be in early teens!!!😃😃😃....that time Kiribati did not have taxis and my return flight was early morning....so I went to airport at 10 PM in a Bus....and send the night at airport.....exactingly the airport is small and the flight which I suppose to board was standing beside runway. As there was no proper chair and benches I was offer by airport security to sleep under the wings of Plain I suppose to board in morning...🤩🤩🤩...it was joy visiting Kiribati.....did spend 6 months there!!!

Indian Nationals and almost half of the world does not need a visa to enter Kiribati for 90 days in a year. Guess you were unlucky going through the ordeal.
