    I loved it when you said the style is leaning more towards an Australian vibe than American. The Sims feels very American and I really enjoy seeing videos that focus on other countries' styles.

    • @kellese5565
      @kellese5565 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Australia doesnt have a style, its unfortunately just 4 bedroom houses all cramped very close together with no backyards. The worse the crime is in yoyr area the more backyard you get lol

    • @tomtartin8673
      @tomtartin8673 ปีที่แล้ว +16

      @@kellese5565 Australia has extremely distinctive architecture styles. Federation style for example is an adaptation of Edwardian architecture but combines elements of Victorian, Craftsman and the Arts and Craft movement making it a distinctively Australian style. Take a look at 1910-1960s suburbans in Victoria, Newcastle and inner west of Sydney and you'll immediately see how much we have to offer in terms of national style. Also Queenslanders, miners cottages, terraces, wrap-around ranch style, we have so much to offer in terms of architectural style!
      sorry for the essay but i'm super passionate about our heritage homes! haha

    • @tomtartin8673
      @tomtartin8673 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      also Deli has a video where she made Melbourne terrace houses (i think anyways), have a look, she does a great job as always!

    i've started to build my houses with japanese bathroom ideas, like separating toilet and shower. giving both their own rooms. so that sims can use the toilet quick when they really gotta go xD

    • @chelseywootton
      @chelseywootton ปีที่แล้ว +8

      i don't live in Japan but i think it's also pretty common in England (at least in our council houses)
      my friend has this at her house and it's so helpful because she only has that "one" bathroom. luckily in my house i have a full bathroom and a toilet room downstairs

    • @sleepines

    I prefer the exterior with the green siding, white trim, and the warm wood windows. 16:54
    I LOVE that kitchen and it open to the dinning and living rooms. Such a dream! The kids bathroom is so cute!!
    For the double height living area. If you go for white siding it might look nice both on the outside and inside. In that same room, the roof piece that has rock on it, idk why its doin that but I would figure out a way so it can match the rest in the white siding lol. Those are my ideas! Excited to see what you do with this build and series!

    This is a random tip, but try finding lilies, Roses, and Tulips or Delilah’s. Besides the begonias, correct me if I’m wrong, but I believe that lilies sell for the most in game. 💐🌺 i’m not sure if it will make her flower arranging skills higher quality, but I know that they all sell for a lot.
    Side note: Do a James pack up all the furniture with you so you don’t loose the value of it when selling it.
    I love it when you do more of an Australian home as an American it’s more interesting to look at because I don’t see it all the time.

After that video I commented on, you uploaded a video later saying you would chill down a bit. Since then, I've felt horrible that my comment may have diminished your naturally sparkly energy by being young and ungrown. Hi 👋🏻 Deli! LOVE this house! The green is nice. We don’t mind if anything seems a little similar to James’s because your play styles are very different. I’m glad you changed to the “white twim.” That was seriously adorable. But, seriously, it matched the surrounding homes better, so the house fits in, even while being a bit more individual looking. Unlike some of the other commenters, I actually liked when you changed those upper triangular new windows from the white to the green & white bcuz it seemed to have higher contrast details. Most others seemed to like the white better. 🤷‍♀️ Btw, just reiterating what 1 other commenter mentioned, 😮that I’d planned to say, myself, I think the left upper triangle window glitched & needs adjusting. Can’t wait to see your family living here & enjoying the space & growing. Warms my heart to see my daughter’s namesake, Persephonē, evolving as a person. Twins have always fascinated me IRL, especially since I had researched a pair further back in my own family, during some ancestry mystery solving. Seems they were adopted separately by family members, even though their father was alive and a war veteran. We still don’t know who their mom was or what happened to her, but thankfully, the family did grow up knowing each other into adulthood. Sorry for the ramble, but I really get into it. 😆
