sonny uses dynamics so well , fahgeddaboud his chops they r other worldly like Becks n Jima and a few few other cats who have raised the bar . the cat is a benchmark for all who attempt to get to a certain mastery of slide ..I am sure Duane Allman would get him and dig it as other slide guys do . real emotion of the song just slide off his hands and strat .
I been to over 100 Sonny shows over the last 25 years. He smiled more in this set than any other I've been too. Two of the many reasons for a music lover to live in south Louisiana.
