I would be upset too! Sorry it went that way friend❣️🥰🤗❤️❣️
All you're doing is rambling and complaining... Not even saying why bluntly why it was bad.
Hey there.. I'm sorry..broke my heart to see you so upset.. and
.. the look cute comment.. more like gorgeous if I may say...
I would contact crew scheduling and ask for a review on what occurred. Their computer program may be at fault. Don't accept what happened. Best foot forward and good luck. 🎉
My Union looked into it and we were able to get extra pay for what happened fortunately
awww, hope u feel better
regional FA here - is this below minimum rest for an international overnight? just curious because I know ten hours is FAA minimum, but your overnight seems pretty short for the length of flight you were working! I also know that this is an older vlog so I hope you've had some great international overnights since then!
unrelated, but I got stuck at PIA for eight and a half hours last week (ORD, DFW, and CLT all seemed to be having issues that day) on maintenance and it made me think of you!
Our minimum rest for IPDs (long haul international) is 14 hours and while it didn’t feel like it, this was about 16 total (arrival to departure) However, since this was a reschedule, we were still at our normal long layover hotel and not by the airport. The drive itself is about an hour or more with traffic and our pick up is two and a half hours before departure, so really it ended up being 12-13 hours behind the door. I agree that it really doesn’t feel like enough for how long the flights we were working are, especially considering the 6 hour time change.
My next vlog will be another London :) I also did just get back from there again. Since I’m almost caught up that vlog should be up in October! Thanks for your continued support in my channel, I really appreciate it 😊
I hope you and your crew were able to get hotels! It’s such a small airport with nothing really to do, but the hotels they usually put crews at tend to be in good locations.
This vlog is 5 months old… are we way behind in your life? I’m a bit confused ☺️
I had a backlog of editing from my computer not working 😅 I’m almost caught up 😊 So sorry for the confusion
@@Jinaye hahaha. All good. I thought I’d gone back in time 🤪
I would love to see you doing a flight Attendant vlog night routine.
What kind of surgery did your sister have? Praying.
She had to have part of her finger amputated. It healed really well, fortunately. Thank you 🙏🏼
@@Jinaye Glad iit turned ok. Much love. 🩷
did u brk in crew rest area on 777
I was the flight attendant in charge of making the bunks up for our crew breaks
I love you so much you’re a beautiful soul
I would be so mad to. Only like 12 hours in London is not enough time
It really wasn’t at all 😭
What happened to immaculate hair grooming. American airlines always look untidy and unhygienic with their hair hanging loosley. Looks unprofessional and messy. Just an observation. Look at all the other airlines of the world and grooming is outstanding.
US based carriers have indeed gotten more relaxed about appearance requirements. Every time I pass by a crew from outside the US I am in awe of how great and put together they all look. No matter how put together I am, I still feel messy compared to them.
@@Jinaye I'm not American (from Australia) and I noticed this in the 90's travelling with United Airlines. The crew were very slack in their appearance. Having worked in aviation myself, if your hair is not groomed is an acceptable style according to the manual you had sort it out! Hair flying everywhere, especially working closely with people and serving food should be high on the grooming requirements. It's also a safety issue with PPE and potentially getting caught on things.
It seems to be a mix of people that do their hair styles nice and those that just throw it up when they’re on the airplane. Personally I’m so bad at doing updos so I try to keep my hair nice but sometimes it just gets thrown in a clip 🫣
IMO and many other experienced crew, it is a requirement at all times; not just when crew feel like looking professional. Who wants hair in their food or shabby hair to look at for a 16 hr+ long haul flight. Presentation matters in aviation, hospitality and in Resort/ accommodation venues. If you want to look like an untidy & unkept employee, maybe another vocation would suit. Most airlines outside of USA do regular grooming, drug & alcohol testing, plus covering up tatoos that are visible and well soled / polished shoe wear. 😊
US airlines do have image standards and random drug tests. The image standard may be more relaxed than some non-us airlines, but it’s still there. For example, some airlines (not mine) are starting to allow visible tattoos. There are some people that take pride in their appearance while in uniform, myself included, but unfortunately not everyone does. However at the end of the day, flight attendants are there for safety.
in summary, mad at her job schedule change, cried about working her JOB, it took 11 minutes to get to that. If this upsets you that much, perhaps seek therapy as to why you wanted to make sure to CRY ON CAMERA about a change to your JOB. That you get paid for. That you have a contract for. Truly baffling. If you don't want to do this upsetting work, find other work.
So you came here to judge me based on something that genuinely upset me. I wasn’t fake crying or putting on a show. I am always my authentic self and sometimes that means showing the ugly. I would be doing a disservice to my viewers to act like everything was fine when I was so unhappy, especially since I typically am able to see the good in everything. I was not the only crew member who was upset. I love my job and enjoy sharing it with those who are interested, which means showing the bad side of things too. I have every right to be upset and telling me to find other work because of that is tacky. I will not tolerate being by bullied. Have a nice day.
