Something that sticks out to me is when Namjoon and Yoongi bump into each other, the Yoongi there doesn't really react to seeing Namjoon, but the one that was playing piano for a party DID. He starts looking around like he remembered something. Meanwhile, the Namjoon that was running around to different places that seem tied to Taehyung (the apartment, the cop car remenicent of Run) was aware that something's changing. In other words, their universes always collide no matter how much they get separated, no matter which timeline.
Also the whole video feels structured like Taehyung having one of his dreams of alternate timelines again.

Yoongi is an music student
Hoseok is a vet student
Jimin is an aspiring dancer who also loves his grandma snd her rice cake shop
Tae is a student who comes back to his home(countryside) for the holidays and help with farming
Kookie is a student who is good at everything ...and has a passion for taekwondo.
Though i dont know why there is a scene of suga and namjoon colliding and the suga mirroring kookie scene..
I think as she said it could be the parallel universe theory..which means that even though bts wouldn't exist it is written in their destiny to meet .

I think it's the answer for the question "What will I be if I wasn't in BTS?" For the members themselves and for ARMY to see what kind of life they would've had but they looked sad so I think that they are saying that it was not going to be a happy life but a life with regrets and empty hopes. Namjoon being a detective is like soo namjoon tae being a farmer is something we know Jk has a black belt so why not J- Hope being a vet is not surpirising for me Yoongi was making music before BTS as well Jin has a good background so yea like it has something to do with the members

okay, so I found this theory on a app called Wit. A fan explained what the mirroring of the video is. It like two worlds colliding into each other and they both have a difference in each world. so they will come together when the planets start to collide when jimin sang, so the new world may be future... idk :) I tried my best to explain it a bit :)

xCeleste Jin’s connected to whales a lot recently. Remember that in the Idol mv his drawing was a whale with “Kore” written on it. Plus in Muster he drew the same thing on his T-shirt 🤔

The music video goes as according to the game. I feel like it shows a glimpse at their lives if they hadn’t become the BTS we know today. Just a thought, once you play BTS world, everything makes a lot more sense to this song anyways.

Thanks for this reaction. I love it. I like how you point out that the video started out as a simple music video, to a lyrics video and then the animations. What a masterpiece of videography this is.
My reaction to it is: Oh my gosh, the music video is finally here!! I love everything about this. The aesthetics and the filmography. It combined almost all the different concept and themes of BTS and their music.
It showed the concept of alternative universe and destiny. Worlds collidings. Jungkook in a room with a brown piano. Yoongi in a place with a black piano. Namjoon bumps into Yoongi.
This music video makes me so emotional and want to cry tears of happiness. No wonder this song is called Heartbeat, my heart is beating so much and feel the emotions.
This song is just so lovely. Their voices is so lovely and feel of emotions. I love how the lyrics is about destiny, fate, finding each other no matter what, and being each others’ light through the dark. Being a guide and compass in our life. It reminds me of the theme of soulmates. Is a perfect song for the storyline of BTS World, and the storyline of the Another World in the game. Is also a great song for a kdrama.
Is like is our destiny to get to know about BTS and the music they make, the impact they made, the message they gave. BTS is fated to be a 7 member group to inspire people all over the world. BTS is really the best. I love them so much.
I actually agree that Heartbeat is not connected to the BTS Universe. Lights is definitely connected but this one is just for the game.
This is just amazing. The song is beautiful, the lyrics touching, the visuals gorgeous. I agree that it doesn’t seem related to the BU, especially parts like HOSEOK being a veterinarian in an alternate timeline.....I mean, what?? These are just their characters in the BTS WORLD game. NAMJOON being a detective seems fitting, though, as does TAEHYUNG being a farmer, JIN an hotelier, KOOKIE a ninja (!?), JIMIN a baker/dancer, and YOONGI (they spell it YUNKI, like when his girl wrote Y.K. on the lighter) a pianist. They all seem lost, however; each has a strong feeling that there’s something else they should be doing. I love how they each look into the camera with that emotional face. And the parts directed to ARMY.....awesome!
But JIN seems especially frantic on the beach, desperately looking around for something......I wonder what that’s about. I guess you just have to play the game to get the full story. I’m sure if/when you decipher some more clues you’ll let us know. It would be amazing if they make a film! Kind of relates to the Beatles; they made several movies: HELP, etc. I know they’re already crazy busy, but this would be the perfect time in their career to do something like this, before military service.

i think the concept of the video is that it was destiny that they met and even in the next life and the life after that and no matter what universe theyre in theyll find eachother again cause its their destiny to be together
I haven't found any connections to the BU yet. I'm currently on the very beginning of lvl 6 of the main story and either lvl 2 or 3 on various members "Another Story". I suppose at the end if you complete everyone's "Another Story" maybe they could tie it back to the BU but I don't think that'll happen. The thing I do think it has in common is alternate realities.
The game it self is very loosely a game. You collect cards and level them up to progress through the story. Of course if you spend money you'll able to progress faster. I do enjoy the clips of the boys together and the alternate versions of themselves. The only thing it really challenges though is your patience. I'd recommend checking it out though.
Also note that only apple users can take screenshots if you have an android your phone won't even allow it.

OMG!!! I'm so glad you posted this reaction video. You are the only person that I can relate to when it comes to the theory of "parallel universe" for the "Heartbeat MV". The first time I watched it when it was released, all I can see is a parallel universe where in our universe, BTS is BTS (legends), and in the other universe, they don't know each other but since they are destined to meet, they eventually did, maybe become friends one day, or even become BTS like we have them today. Who knows? But I love this. Thank you for this amazing reaction, as always.

I also didn’t think this was part of the storyline UNTIL the part when Jin runs out to the beach and looks like he’s missing something (or somebodies , lol) and he yells and looks so frustrated. That confused me but idk, this is just meant to promote the game. I love everything about this song and video. I like when you called it epic bc it truly is 💜
No connection to BU actually. You'd rather have a better appreciation of the MV if you started playing the game. This game is so good.
If something is BU content it is mentioned under the video. So Lights is also no BU content. I was surprised you made a theory, which i guess one can still do in general. But it is not officially connected to the Bangtan universe.

i also thought a lot about how this connects to BU... but the only thing that makes sense to me is this song is about how BTS will meet each other in whatever universe they are and they're destined, so BANGTAN UNIVERSE is one of them, BTS WORLD is one too, and the real BTS is one... i think they're trying to show that they all connect in a way? and how those seven guys no matter what they're doing, they're still destined to meet? idk that's what i feel 🤷🏽♀️😵
Honestly I'm still trying to get the game so I'm like not sure of how it is yet but I've been trying too see if I can get it into my new bday phone bc I'm usually on time with the games they release but damn they had to do it when I literally was busy and no room left in my other phone but other than the that putting it aside, I actually thought of the same thing as you that these are just the characters for the game and doesn't really connect much with the storyline though it does show signs that it could be but hey its bighit and bts you never know with them honestly this is on a whole different level than what they usually do.
I like the fact that they're trying something different something new because they get to explore with it and make greater videos that honestly it snatched a lot of wigs. I can't wait too see what more they bring too us in the future

I read somewhere that the whale showing up was from Whalien 52 and that in a parallel universe without each other and no BTS they would be lonely and voiceless and that got to me

When 2 worlds collided, it looked like Saturn. On that note, Saturn will be close tomorrow.
Remember the 2 worlds facing eachother? It looks like there are 2 world maybe it explains on why there are many mirroring scenes (the movie upside down) 2 worlds that collided and became as one
The game have 2 stories, so it is a parallel universe.
To me the planets are not colliding, they are merging together to form one planet, you can see at the very end of the video a huge Earth is inside 2 rings.
I think the roof top, whale, police car, piano, etc etc, are all references of all the songs and music videos they have done so far.
The first couple of scenes are the scenes from the stories of each individual members, where there is no BTS.
The scence where you see them practicing belongs to the main story where you are their manager helping them become BTS and debut.
I haven't finish the game so I don't really know how both stories will end up.
But I have a feeling that both stories will end up with the same ending.
The "animation" is a reference to one of my favorite bts spngs whalien 52
i dont have any theories on this but i play the game so I know all of their careers in the mv are what they would be if they werent bts but is it just me or the planets colliding paired with jimins high note gave me goosebumps 🥺❤️ Also i see the ways of how it can be part of the storyline like when yoongi and jungkook were mirroring eachother or when jimin looked back at hoseok.

You see in the game there is parallel universes as they keep referencing things from their individual stories as well as make appearances in each others stories - like Taehyung appearing in Jin's story as well as Yoongi's?. There are links between them. I don't think they are strongly related to their main story lines in terms of music videos and such, this is more separate, but I can say everything is more interlinked within the game.

I get emotional when i listen to their songs , because it started In the Mv epilogue And your words are so interesting and i learn from their mvs also it led to Webtoon then coincidences and them theries. They make me happy but also upset because one day they will leave, but no matter what they will cross eachothers backs qnd come again. Since heart beat ost exist for bts world gaming, there could be generalize the possibility key question like what if..... What ll happen.... Connect or, not to BU there ll always door of possibility for different dimension reality with different storyline with same outcome the destiny to meet with each other no matter they r holding identity bangtan or not. Just like a maze, every decision lead to different outcome of life choices. There's lots of version of interpretation we might get into, alternate universe n the possibilities of mirror reflection reality. No boundary for infinite imagination as long as we enjoy getting smth from bangtan's content with magnificent views n ideas to appreciate the beauty of art n msg. All msg connect to positive n meaningful which might or not ll be appreciate in different angle of perspectives 😊 that's why i love bangtan so much, they let me see things tru their music pieces. Right or wrong is not that important to me bcs i see beautiful stuff from them. Yes its like watching movie instead of ost mv but i enjoy such high quality content bcs i got so much emotions from watching mv n good song 👍👏👏💜

Pretty sure this is only connected in the sense that this could be a parallel universe not only to real life but to the bangtan universe as well. All 3 show the boys crossing paths and living different versions of life, but the game is more to emphasize how they would live a 'normal' life separated from the others. The bangtan universe obviously is COMPLETELY fictional and meant to represent various themes of youth for their music vids. So yeah, nothing really important to connect. But u should really get started on the game, as I'd like to hear your theories on quite a few things. It sounds like the game is revealing a lot of REAL LIFE info but we have to figure out which parts are fictional for the story and what parts are real
This music video made me so emotional, cus in the game, BTS disappears & you become their manager and struggle to find them again & put them together. There is another part of the game where they are living their own life doing other things if they were not BTS, so those clips in the music video are the ones in the stories of the parallel universe or whatever. So it made me really emotional cus like idk what life would be if BTS never met each other came together to become BTS & become the loves of my life. & The game tbh, is REALLY hard. I would not recommend it to others but I play it when I can. & They really made the security on the game so tight, that you are not allowed to screenshot or your account will get suspended & when you try to record the game, it comes out as blank, LOL.

I'm writing this while crying cause its so emotional I'm really proud of my 7 babies if you get to the past they were always sleeping in one room and always struggling. They’re in alternate universes and didn’t come together. The YOUniverse we live in is the one with us Armys.surrounding them as stars (Galaxies). Thank goodness for destiny that brought them together to bring them to Army.
I don’t know the song maybe it’s for each member. Even they live in another alternate universe, they feel like it’s their destiny to meet each other again and united together as family. Therefore the lyric says, “i wish that you would love me, like you did yesterday” means in the reality world when they are together as BTS. Idk, it’s hard to explain. Although the BU and BTS world are two different universes , the only connections I can think of are the parallel universes and *slight spoiler I guess* Taehyung seems to be connected in all the stories somehow

by the way, just telling, on the dvd that jeongguk play there’s “민 윤 기” and on jimin’s part the highnote part there’s two world colliding i think that is the “another universe” where the boys dont know each other and they’re not the ‘bangtan’ we know and the “bts world” where the boys are the bts we and the world know, i think its the both world colliding and then thats why they met eachother like on the music video because the two world collides. its because they’re destined to be a singer? idk its just my theory i hope u read this and u could figure it out
