Can you explain to me what shipping is, cause I thought I knew. And aren't they both involved with partners.
@@joordanleung4848 Hi! Yup, Ariel is married while Joe is idk if he has a gf by now, maybe. To answer, Shipping is the act of wanting two or more fictional characters or celebrities to end up in a relationship, usually romantic.
It's like rooting for them to be together still even until now. 💛
@@crazychrizzietv but isn't that romanticizing in a fantasy way. Why waste time trying to live in a dream of putting these men and women together when they clearly only have a working relationship with each other? Some are platonic friends too. I think it is mentally messed up to seriously push and ship two people who obviously have significant others in their lives. Why wish for married woman to be with a married man in real life. That is like very disrespectful to the actors, and blasphemous towards God. The sad thing is, these shippers take this thing Ng so seriously that they pine away for years for the actors to be together. It becomes an act of not being able to seperate the actors real lives from their characters lives. They live in a delusional fantasy bubble, and when the actors end up with other people, they cry, become depressed, some starve themselves, cut themselves, and even in some cases, kill themselves. I have seen that all happen. Shipping is not normal or healthy, unless the actors really have something going. The only actors I can ship right now who played a couple recently are Andy Bian and Kenny Chen, cause they are dating...... FOR REAL. Great onscreen and friendship chemistry does not mean a couple is compatible as partners in real life. Look at Jake Shu and Wu Chengyang, so much chemistry on and off screen, and now they don't even acknowledge each other's existence.
@@joordanleung4848 @Joordan Leung Hi. I got your point and I respect your opinion on how you see it. As an ArJoe fangirl since ages, this is just an expression of appreciation with their great chemistry which I totally fell in love with.
In my own perspective, as you see, I ship them two but am not pushing them to be together. Afterall - I'm just a fan, I dont have a say for whoever they date or like. I ship them because I like them, their chemistry but we aren't pushing them to break with their significant others or so, that's delusional. Shippers taking this seriously like really on an disrespectful level is a different story - definitely not me bc I also have a life haha.
Another thing, I dont think it is wasting time to ship, like, support or show fan's love to actors/actresses.
Because:
1. You never know how much these people, in this case - them as a couple, have influenced or even saved many fans from wrong path, or have inspired them or even motivated them at the very least.
2. This is an expression of support.
3. Shipping them as couple does not necessarily mean wanting them break off with somebody else or push them, because shipping is the most straightforward form of their effectivity as a couple to mass audience. :)
More than these, how can you not love those two people? Adorably good chemistry.

I hear you and I respect your comment. Yes, when two actors work together and they click and give their characters credibility, that is something to be admired. Who doesn't enjoy when two actors get together and click and the audience enjoy their comraderi together. Does it mean they should be shipped and pushed to be a couple? I Think Not. Does it make sense to ship these actors because they bring us moments of enjoying them act out their roles with great chemistry and precision, Definitely Not. Even if they save your life, pay your tuition fees, inspire you to be a better person, it still does not give netizens the right to ship. These people do not live their lives based on their chemistry, they do not live their lives through their characters, and they do not live their lives in the acting studios. They live their personal and love lives based on what and who they love, and it is no business of ours. And yes, a lot of the fans take the shipping to an obsessive, possessive, psycho, personal fantasy level, expecting the couple to be together, just like their characters. It has become evident that a large number of fans cannot seperate the real actors from their roles, and it shows in their comments. The laughable, yet pathetic excuse of " We Ship Them Because Their Chemistry Is So great" is Beyond insipid and boorish. Such behaviours and excuses can be categorize as mentally unstable behavioral patterns. Like I said,I have seen the destruction caused by such destructive behaviour. When Ariel got married, I saw this 40 year old Pinoy lady crying saying she wished it was Joe that Ariel married. If something is not mentally messed up there, then the sky isn't blue. Ariel would have never dated or married Joe, she knows why, Joe knows why. They never should ship them in the first place. These people do not need us to plan their love lives for then, just because they have the so called great chemistry. I can't get over how belligerent and backward some fans are in 2020 with this nonsensical obsessive, brain wasting shipping.
