8 tips and tricks for the CDJ2000 and CDJ2000 nexus

This video is mostly for people who are too lazy to read the manuel but there are some undocumented features shown as well.

This function works only when connected to a PRO DJ Link-ready mixer. That would be the DJM850, 900 and 2000 currently. The right light means that the CDJ is on-air (its sound goes through the main out of the mixer). It takes crossfader-position etc. into consideration. This is another "handy when drunk" feature.

The light changes to red when you connect your CDJs to either a DJM-2000, DJM-900 or DJM-850. It indicates that the CD-player is playing and the signal is hearable (the line-fader of the corresponding channel is up).

+derrick scott It has to be connected with Ethernet-cable to a DJM 2000 or DJM 2000 mixer. Those have ethernet connections for every CDJ. Red means that its signal is currently audible.
