a bodkin point from a nail,
and showcase the most underappreciated type of arrowhead- vanilla, blunt wooden arrowhead
These are the arrowheads anyone can make and they make a good and durable option for any archery enthusiast.

@stubbornlylazyproductions8061 I've only just started making a bow, after doing a walking stick. All these tips and vids are great, especially the ones with minimal tools and not way too technical. I'll check some of your others out.

Broadheads for mini Bow..Such as shooting Bamboo Skewers...
you can make effective big game arrowheads out of GREEN hardwood. fire harden the wood after you finish shaping the head. Leave a 1/4" wide chisel point. Make the edges concave, when viewed from the side of head. Scallop and serraite those edges, so that they will cut blood vessels. You'lll need a 50 lb bow and sub 50 ft ranges and avoid the ribs in order to get adequte penetration on rear 1/4 angle shots. Shots from above, in a tree blind, work well to 10m or less range.

dont cut off the handle until you're done. in fact, put a dowel on the handle to give you safety and leverage.

I was watching a couple of videos with TH-cam makers take spoons and turn them into broadheads and your video was the first and only one that removed the extra steel before filing. There was even one video where the maker used a file to shape the head and it looked like it would take forever. So your idea of using the vice fit Nicely between using only hand tools and using power tools. So that way any can still use no power tools only hand tools without taking forever to file down the spoon to shape. So nice job

Yeah, and I agree completely, for these survival items and in general, making it quickly and efficiently, while achieving sufficient function, is essential! :D
U can make spearhead with larger spoons and much more u can use them as mini shovels too I find the thick spoons more effective as mini shovels tho the skinny looking ones probably tend to bent over and not be an effective shovel tool

why do you think they are badly done/all wrong?
they were generally supposed to be for demonstration purposes, to showcase the arrowhead types.

@@stubbornlylazyproductions8061 they are hideous to see and very badly done .. I don't make videos or rather I do some but music ... but archery and the tips I do them myself but much better ... on the other hand just follow some serious tutorials to understand how to do them effortlessly and well

@@italianteddyboy you have no idea what you're talking about I have been making DIY arrows ever since I was a kid and these are nearly perfect I have made thees same style of arrows many times and there's nothing wrong with them
