Even if you don’t know anyone, just get in the playing circle, once person besides you find you are struggling, almost all will teach you play rather making fun of you... It’s always about to gather courage to get into the playing circle of garba and remove shyness, rest is very easy. There is huge Gujarati community in Bengal settled even from Pre-independence times due to business purposes...
I like Garba dance very much . I had studied in Gujarathy Vidhyalaya High school in Kochi. Coastal area of south India in Kerala district . I like to see this type of dance when I was kid . not only the Gujarathy Dance . The sweets also very good . I like Peda , Gatia , Jilabee....., Barfy , Sonupappady .Powbhaaji ho...............

I am from Bengal but I found GARBA very fascinating. I know at the time of DURGA PUJA they play GARBA but I never got an opportunity to dance in GARBA
