Please pin this, might be useful to someone. I had starting issue in Dominar 400 BS6 first service is done. Bike stopped on the way home. Meter console was showing nothing. I called bajaj mechanic. He came and checked the Battery and fuse were in good condition. Then he removed the starter relay socket under the seat RH side, cleaned and put it back. Tightened the relay nuts. Removed and put back relay fuse which is placed separately under the RH cowl next to starter relay. Hola the bike started. He said some loose connection issue in the starter relay. Nothing replaced. He charged RS500. Just wanted to share with all.
The mechanic seems to be a very soft-spoken and nice person. Doing a good job in sequence for proper cleaning and ease of work. One thing i didn't like which he is doing wrong is to clean the chain with a wire brush which is not recommended.... better to use a soft toothbrush or a plastic brush that will not damage the links or leave metal particles in between the links. Otherwise seems to be a good job. From the condition of the Chain and oil condition, the owner doesn't seem to care for the bike as much as he talks about his bike and love for it.
Brother i dint have engine knocking problem on my dominar but the mechanic suggested that if any one facing engine knocking issue can do the throttle body n injector cleaning to solve that problem

last time you had also shown Air filter shown , and you said that wind shield will not make any noise. nbut I see you have changed the wind shield now, maybe was not done correctly?
The rubber of windshield r very poor quality they tend to break or the screws get loosen up I have changed the rubber thrice till now n airfilter should be changed every 5k km it's better for a long run

Hii, today I cleaned my dominar throttle body like you did in this video. But I found after cleaning the throttle body, thr rpm rises and slows down slowly. I found it very uncomfortable as I m facing issues while riding My dominar. When I adked my mechanic, he said due fresh cleaning of throttle body it hapens after 30 kms it will be alright. Any idea or advices?
Hello bro when u serviced throttle body u should have also serviced injectors as well n u should change the fuel filter as well coz our fuel filter is made of paper material n it gets damaged due to low quality fuel, the petrol from the tank first goes through the fuel filter n cleans the fuel n sends it to the injectors if the filter is damaged the petrol flow to the injector might get affected or wait for 30km n check if u still face problems then u can use petrol addictive of wurth or liqui moly that helps in cleaning injectors
after raising the handle bar in my dominar 2019 clutch cable got tightened whenever i turn it completely towords the left side . did you get a suggestions for this problem. pls help
Brother 2019 dominar already have a handle bar raiser installed as standard by bajaj n if u raise it more the clutch cable will fall short, u can do one thing u can adjust ur handle a bit by changing the position n then check if it's still getting tight or u can visit any spares shop n then check with other bikes clutch cable length whichever is longer then your stock clutch cable u can install that cable
Mere general service me only air filter clean or disc pad clean Kiya bass 699+75rs liya ye kam to local garage Wala 100- me kar deta hai or bike wash bhi nahi Kiya ... 😡😡😡😡
My bike got washed in the morning and then garage uncle also have a nano coating wash which is included in the general service which is done in 1 litre of water but i told them not to do that coz next day i wanted to do pressure wash
The mechanic said the check engine light will show when u do throttle body service but it automatically turns off after sometime but in my case it dint turn on after installation

Hello bro, There's no specific km on which u should change the chain sprocket till the time the chain doesn't get loosen up very often, generally the stock chain sprocket last for 10k to 15k km it depends on how u maintain ur bike I mean proper chain lube n clean every 300 to 400km helps extend the life of chain
@@Bitesonbike is your chain getting loosen up after every 50 to 100km ? If yes then it's time to change the sprocket n if u want the best chain sprocket then go for the rolon X ring brass chain sprocket that last long n it doesn't make any chain noise + the chain doesnt get rust coz it's made of brass

Bro this is a complete dirt which is stuck on the air filter u cant remove it with just pressure air but it needs to be washed with pressure but as u know this air filter is made of paper components so cant do that n it doesn't cost much so no compromise on these stuffs coz it helps your bike breath properly
The place where I stay is near sea side so there r many chances of metal things getting rusted so it's used for safe sight n it's not harmful if there's no rust present in the tank

I am fasing this kind of problem bajaj service center still fixing my bike they still didn't find any clue my bike D250 whenever I rabe my bike it goes to 6k-7k rpm and come back to 5k-4k rpm it feels like the bike is in empty tank I was thinking it could be fuel pump problem so they replac fuel pump p but it wasn't, so they replace throttle body also but did not fix the problem at last they are thinking that it could be electrical problem so they are fixing my bike it has been 3day they are still fixing my bike run till now around 18k km but i face the problem in 10k km after 3rd service 🥲🥲 can you plz give me a suggestion what should I do now
There are few reasons where in u face this kind of problem 1) water might have mixed with fuel 2) Throttle positioning sensor issue 3) faulty fuel pump Coz engine knocks when the fuel supply isn't proper so kindly check with these things

The key should be on n on left side of display theres a rubber press button press it n hold on for few seconds the service reminder will start blinking n then press the right side press button n then turn the key off n then turn on the service reminder will disappear

@@abhiseksahoo1730 it took almost 15 mins Max including the injecter cleaning but it completely depends on how much the carbon is on your throttle body if it is less then it can be done with 5 mins, but to clean it u should use carburator spray which is easily available at the spares shop for better results or u can clean it with petrol as well

The video was really informative but you should not trust 100% on these mechanics use your own common sense while doing this kind of works on your bike. When I started watching the video I thought the mechanic was competent. After watching the whole video I realized that he is another stupid with some jugad. Two things I noticed, that make me to say so. First, using a wire brush on a 'O' Ring chain. what makes him think that it is the right way to clean the chain? He is damaging the O Ring in the first place no doubt about that. Second thing using an anti rust spray on electrical parts, Really? It could cause short circuit because it won't vaporize and it has oily property. For electrical parts you should use contact cleaner if you really want to clean it not any anti rust spray.
Bro my chain was completely rusted with the help of wire brush n rust spray he removed the rust from my chain, talking about the use of rust spray on switch that was because the switches tend to get carbon on the main board just to make it carbon free the rust spray has been used
This is all a publicity stunt.. I just had my bike serviced..half an hour ago I rcvd the delivery of the bike and I am absolutely unsatisfied with the work done.. They don't pay attention to detail and problem faced by the customer..this is all looking very nice coz a video is being shot.. If ur bike chain isn't lubed well the chain becomes dry n starts making noise n other thing is if ur chain is loose that starts touching your swingarm on bad roads
Bro if your bike is 1st version then one additional clamp need to be fix it will done in the showroom for free of cost I was having the same issue before and my service center person cleared the issue using that item I don't know the exact name of the item u check with them I think the name is vibration reduction kit or something if anybody knows help him to clear buddies

The mechanic said the check engine light will show when u do throttle body service but it automatically turns off after sometime but in my case it dint turn on after installation

There's no specific km on which u should change the chain sprocket till the time the chain doesn't get loosen up very often, generally the stock chain sprocket last for 10k to 15k km it depends on how u maintain ur bike I mean proper chain lube n clean every 300 to 400km helps extend the life of chain

If yes then it's time to change the sprocket n if u want the best chain sprocket then go for the rolon X ring brass chain sprocket that last long n it doesn't make any chain noise + the chain doesnt get rust coz it's made of brass

Air filter neednt be changed every 5000kms. A good cleaning by pressurised air will be enough
Bro this is a complete dirt which is stuck on the air filter u cant remove it with just pressure air but it needs to be washed with pressure but as u know this air filter is made of paper components so cant do that n it doesn't cost much so no compromise on these stuffs coz it helps your bike breath properly
Dominar has plastic fuel tank..so no rust will form in petrol tank..
The place where I stay is near sea side so there r many chances of metal things getting rusted so it's used for safe sight n it's not harmful if there's no rust present in the tank

If you service your bike at bajaj authorized svc they use only motul enugel expert and it is the best coolant available for all bikes

I am fasing this kind of problem bajaj service center still fixing my bike they still didn't find any clue my bike D250 whenever I rabe my bike it goes to 6k-7k rpm and come back to 5k-4k rpm it feels like the bike is in empty tank I was thinking it could be fuel pump problem so they replac fuel pump p but it wasn't, so they replace throttle body also but did not fix the problem at last they are thinking that it could be electrical problem so they are fixing my bike it has been 3day they are still fixing my bike run till now around 18k km but i face the problem in 10k km after 3rd service 🥲🥲 can you plz give me a suggestion what should I do now
There are few reasons where in u face this kind of problem
1) water might have mixed with fuel
2) Throttle positioning sensor issue
3) faulty fuel pump
Coz engine knocks when the fuel supply isn't proper so kindly check with these things
Brother one day they change the tank with another d250 but the result was same I am very upset😞 you can feel my anxiety according to them there is a hard drive type thing it's situated under the battery, that hard drive connect all the wires in the bike , now they put another hard drive and i thing they spoil the inject part where you can put that bike hard drive now the bike is not starting so they trying fix it it all ready 5days gone no phone no update at all , chala wa bike woh log kharab kar dia,

The key should be on n on left side of display theres a rubber press button press it n hold on for few seconds the service reminder will start blinking n then press the right side press button n then turn the key off n then turn on the service reminder will disappear

@@abhiseksahoo1730 it took almost 15 mins Max including the injecter cleaning but it completely depends on how much the carbon is on your throttle body if it is less then it can be done with 5 mins, but to clean it u should use carburator spray which is easily available at the spares shop for better results or u can clean it with petrol as well

The video was really informative but you should not trust 100% on these mechanics use your own common sense while doing this kind of works on your bike. When I started watching the video I thought the mechanic was competent. After watching the whole video I realized that he is another stupid with some jugad. Two things I noticed, that make me to say so. First, using a wire brush on a 'O' Ring chain. what makes him think that it is the right way to clean the chain? He is damaging the O Ring in the first place no doubt about that. Second thing using an anti rust spray on electrical parts, Really? It could cause short circuit because it won't vaporize and it has oily property. For electrical parts you should use contact cleaner if you really want to clean it not any anti rust spray.
Bro my chain was completely rusted with the help of wire brush n rust spray he removed the rust from my chain, talking about the use of rust spray on switch that was because the switches tend to get carbon on the main board just to make it carbon free the rust spray has been used
This is all a publicity stunt.. I just had my bike serviced..half an hour ago I rcvd the delivery of the bike and I am absolutely unsatisfied with the work done.. They don't pay attention to detail and problem faced by the customer..this is all looking very nice coz a video is being shot.. If ur bike chain isn't lubed well the chain becomes dry n starts making noise n other thing is if ur chain is loose that starts touching your swingarm on bad roads
Bro if your bike is 1st version then one additional clamp need to be fix it will done in the showroom for free of cost I was having the same issue before and my service center person cleared the issue using that item I don't know the exact name of the item u check with them I think the name is vibration reduction kit or something if anybody knows help him to clear buddies

Chain spray are useless.. i m using gear oil 80-90 grade and works awsoomeee.. the noise doesn't come always.. it's only when bike runs on rough road
