MHFU | This Great Sword is just Sad

Meet Pickaxe Blade, the saddest Great Sword in high rank. Just imagine. Low enough raw, even some low rank Great Sword completely overpower it. Low enough sleep that I can't even put a Rathian to sleep before I managed to unalive her. Green sharpness albeit long enough, and no slot. I have so much rant about this Great Sword . . . .
Despite everything, I'm sure there's at least someone out there, who love to use this Great Sword.

in fairness though that's Sunbreak, and GS actually has more options to get status procs in that game if you're into that sort of thing. Hunting Edge can hit multiple times fast if you do the plunge, Surge Slash can rack up hits too, the Jumping Wide Slash hits three times, and for armor skills there's always Coalesence I guess

To be fair Combo greatsword is much better than charged greatsword for inflicting status effects.

Always thought that the low chance for weapons to actually inflict status effect damage was really weird, and especially seeing it here it makes you wonder why they even have status greatswords in the game

A good sleep GS relic was highly sought after in 4U. Never could get a good one myself.

Sleep SnS is the best weapon for Sleep Bombing (I use that method for ADHD monster like Rajang and Kirin)

​​​@@alejandrorabang5083Light Bowgun is the king of bombing, SnS did it okay in tri and 3U but that will forever be the role of God's Archipelago. Also relic sleep GS is fantastic in 4U, GU has some good sleep GS as well (nightcloak malfeatio) Something tells me you either haven't played old gen in 15 years or have never played them 🤔
