@@toneswinger Well the cartridge isn't on the LP....the TT is spinning, but the record isn't playing. So it probably was playing some digital source.
Sounds good even through my lap top. Like to hear it with some Rockier tunes and the new Focal Kanta speakers !

Ho appena venduto accuphase e480 in quanto non mi piaceva il suo suono cupo con attacchi lenti. In base all'audio che sento da youtube mi piace molto questo abbinamento. Sono già in possesso del lettore cd luxman cd03x.. Volevo sapere se il 509x pilota bene le dali. Sarei propenso andare con le epicon6. Grazie

The system is absolutely stunning in looks, what is the make of this turntable? Musically it starts very well but becomes brittle in sound?
pretty sure it was a Luxman turntable. My mic rig back then wasnt the best - so the recording is not totally representative - my more recent ones are much better in this regard
@@PursuitPerfectSystem You might have been too close to clipping while doing the recording as well. It's not easy to do good recording in an untreated room.

It looks like what I'm looking for... The price will be brutal, but still less than C700u and M700u + cabling. L590AX II sounds wonderful to me, but generate too much heat. L507ux has slow meters and half of capacitors and less details in sound... Would be great to hear it. How do you like the sound of this new L-509x in comparison to L590AXII and C700u+M700u?
I have only had the M700u in for review not the others but I loved it. After I made this video I looked up the 509X and it has the same spec as the M700U and it says the same Pre as a C700u. Made me think this is going to be one hell of an Integrated and its stunning to look at as well

yeah funny that when they play CD's the turntable doesn't need to be used! or did you miss the numbers counting on the cd player
How would it sound, the Luxman with my Focal Lab 1028BE? I think great? These Dalicons sounds very poor! There is also a test with these speakers with th B &W 602 here on youtube.....very, very poor sound (both)!

@@doubleblindtest4649 for me, better balanced. I had a big mac in my system last year as a contender along with a Hegel H590. The Hegel was dull and soft, the Mcintosh sounded like a boom box (all bass and treble, with thin mids) the Luxman sounds utterly perfect. Smooth, powerful, clean, transparent and in control. I love it
I own a 509x, only bummer, can't tell volume level.

I quite like the Luxman design language, do you not think it properly reflects the heritage of the brand? I am considering buying a used L-509X to replace my L-550axii, I would like an AB amplifier because of the slightly tighter sound and the reduced energy consumption / heat output. I also like the Accuphase E-380. Do you have a recommendation for an AB integrated amplifier with between 100 and 200 watts? Any suggestions would be gratefully received.

I would say read your comments and comprehend how insulting they are and think when your grey and can maybe afford 6 figure hifi system how you will feel when someone writes the comment you did - which lets be honest if they can afford a 6 figure hifi system do you think they really care what you have to say about it
