The only way I survive the Vegas days is with pool days. I highly recommend everyone watching all of your pool videos which really show the pros and cons of each pool.
Pool days in Vegas are always fun, but don't forget to reapply the sunscreen too! And thank you for the Pro's and Con's shoutout, not all pools are equal!
I experience the same heat in my city in CA so I’ll be fine when I’m there in a week 😊
Great rain advice 6:09. Last year seemed extra crazy. I usually visit around Labor Day. So many flash floods in the week’s prior in Aug 2023.
So true and many don't realize how quickly it comes on. Thanks for watching and sharing!
Please keep yourself cool add stay hydrated drink a lot of water that's what I do here in Florida
Thanks for the overview. Love your vids! I’m staying at PH in August. I’ll definitely dedicate a day for the pool to stay cool (hopefully) 🥵 I haven’t used their pool yet but hopefully it’ll be decent at that time.
The nice thing about PH pool is that there are 2, one party and one more chill with a nice tanning deck. They also have table games and games inside by the bar. The downside is that there isn't much room to chill around the pool. Here is a video that we did on the pool.th-cam.com/users/shorts6dYJdpfmcNg?si=9EVWZRBRELnzn-mr
We moved our Vegas trips to early May and early October................Dry heat my ass..........it's going to be 112 next week, the first week of Summer
LOL, we have lots of friends and family that skip summer too, that's when we visit them. May and October are actually really nice in Vegas, great to explore the outdoors. Thanks for sharing!
Going to Vegas in July. My second time doing it bc of the summer league. Being from Michigan and still have the temperature at 99° at 11pm was crazy. But I tolerated it bc it was dry heat
We agree, I will take 100 in Vegas over 85 and humid in the Southeast any day of the week! LOL!
I hate summers in Vegas. I’m going in October this year without the heat and overcrowding.
October is a great time to be in Vegas. It's not crazy hot, but still warm enough to sit by the pool.
I'm going in September (birthday). From what I can tell, it will still be hot, but more like May or late April heat (low 90s and upper 80s). I can totally deal with those temps.
Great video thanks I will be staying at the luxer hotel in August when I come to las vegas
The Luxor pool is a lot of fun in the summer! Only thing is that there really isn't much shade at all so be prepared for long sun exposure.
Where is the best place to watch the fireworks show on July the 4th?
On the strip, I would say in front of Flamingo facing Caesars Palace. Downtown is gonna be the Plaza. Hope you have a fun time!
Water is great but you need ELECTROLYTES as well! The combination of the heat and alcohol drains your body of its electrolytes. So in addition to water, also drink coconut water or gatorade or pedialyte or add electrolyte salts to your water.
Great video! Two questions 😊 Do you find the casinos and shopping areas overly cold with the air conditioning? I’m coming for 4 nights July 21 and am debating bringing a cardigan. Also, does the water in the pools stay cool or are they uncomfortably hot? I’ve been to Las Vegas many, many times but always in early spring or late fall so this is a first for me. Coming from Ontario 🇨🇦so am used to humidity but don’t like overly cold 🥶 air conditioned areas.
100% bring a light sweater/hoodie because you will get a chill at some point while you're inside
Great tip! I always have a light jacket and recommend the same!
Cold? No way. The ac can barely keep up so it's still pretty toasty inside unless it's a small venue rather than one of the resorts. By small venue I mean a stand alone restaurant type location. The resorts simply can't keep up against the dry intense heat of summer in Vegas.
A light sweater are nice late at night. And shows and restaurants people dress nice. But don’t go out of your way to bring something heavy.
And the pool temps are usually cold unless packed with people.
Can locals visit hotel pools in the summer, if not are there water places or pools they can go to? I’m going to spend 2 months there next month, and there’s no pool!!!!!!! UGH! Please help!
Absolutely! Caesar’s Palace is the only Caesar’s property that actually check for a room key. Security told us this themselves, they only check for alcohol in bags and nothing else.
There is also Cowabonga Bay, I pretty big water park in Henderson.
I’ll take dry heat over humid heat any day of the week. There’s no comparison. I have family that lives in hot and humid climates needless to say I don’t visit them in the summer but I’ll go to Vegas any day in the summer.
Same. I could walk 3 - 4 miles in Vegas without breaking a sweat but I can’t do 1/2 a mile out here in Texas without my shirt being drenched!!
NO LIE DETECTED😅
For the past 20 years, I have been in Vegas every summer b/c my children were at UNLV. I visited every year in June, July or August. I too follow a school schedule. After starting menopause, I said no more. Then I’ve been coming in winter , oh so much better. Now I’m retired, have grandchildren so I want to come up as many times as possible, not looking towards the 3 digit number, but hey, I get to see my grandchildren. 🤙🥰🫶🏼🌺
Same! We have family and friends throughout the Southeast and prefer to visit them over Christmas / New Years. But I'll take 110 in Vegas any day of the week, lol!
