    It's good to know about the Ryobi Parts store. I have a fair amount of Ryobi tools, thankfully none have died yet but it's good to know where to get parts of one does go up in smoke.

      They are really easy to repair.

      @@DadItYourselfDIY I have taken quite a few apart for reviews and most are fairly easy. Probably the hardest was the brushless reciprocating saw.

      What makes it so different from a regular brushed motor unit?

      @@DadItYourselfDIY the rubber grip by the blade end hides the screws. I couldn't see a way of getting it off without cutting it.

    Hey , you got any idea what's causing my ryobi circular saw to cut off after a few seconds being turned on ? I guess it's eitherr the trigger switch or motor ? Don't even get to put it into lumber it just cuts off

      Check the contacts inside, and does it do it with different batteries? One of my multi-tools has worn clip stops, so the battery drops out too. Finally, never use a saw with a battery lower than 4ah.

    TTI which is Ryobi Milwaukee and rigid can all be fixed on your own but trying to go through the proper channels is sometimes bothersome. I only have the 18 gauge airstrike brad nailer and the Band file. By seeing your videos and others that go up in smoke makes me not want to consider buying Ryobi at all. I think the only ones I would buy are the cabinets that you bought and paint them red and they will match the rest of my packouts and my pack out wall I have on my channel.

    • @DadItYourselfDIY
      @DadItYourselfDIY  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Depends on the model. For the P514 it was 230074015.

    For best results, power tools should be optimized to belch billowing tufts of the thickest blackest smoke, acrid beyond comprehension. Cheers!

    what's your honest opinion of ryobi out of curiosity?

    • @DadItYourselfDIY

      I'm super happy with the line overall. The price point is good and they have lasted me a while.. Just like everything else, they haveca couple of lemons, and have some gaps in the product line. But I don't regret buying into the line.

      I have enjoyed all mine so far, I use the 3/8 , 3 speed brushed impact for alot of automotive work I do, and man it's a life saver, I have floor jacks but I prefer my scissor jack cause (paired with Jack stands) can be deployed so fast with my impact, I can have the car off ground so fast and then ugga dug those lugs off quicker than regular floor jack users can slide thier jack to the car

      I drive a full size truck the 1/2 takes care of those lugs no problem. My #shorts video on Wednesday in on the impact wrench.
