I’m surprised there was decent variety in the matches and it wasn’t all just mirrors.
It’s the special deck restriction, basically each team can designate 3 shared card that every player can use at max copies. Then the rest of the card pool has to be divided among each team members. This makes it so each player will have to play a different deck

It shouldnt. Runick is like 19 cards, naturia is like 10, and the maxx c/ash/called by rounds things to 40. Also, vernusylph doesnt add anything to what the deck already does

yes. it's a 3v3 team match of best-of-9. since it's a team battle, if a certain team wins 5 times first overall, they will take the rest of the win regardless of the result of the remaining games. (if your team wins 5 times and only lost 1 time, it will be recorded as 8-1, for example) (if they hit 5 wins before the 3rd match, 3rd match will not play out).

Dear god some of these duels are just so painful to watch. Between the mandatory Maxx C abuse and the fact that players can't surrender even after it's obvious they got no comeback, like I feel for the players stuck in this.

also there were alot of back and forth some times they won

Best of one is a mistake. Almost every match is won or lost at the coin toss.
Duel links is worse since you can’t choose who goes first or second.
It’s how master duel is played normally so it’s whatever, the team format makes it a bit more balanced though
