That dipstick just keeps on riding like the bike is supposed to do that. If my bike started to do that, I'd pull over RIGHT NOW!

You and I both. It was scary just watching him ride. Thanks for the comment

Hey Mo, It happens to Harley 2008 and later models. It happens on my 2008 Harley. The funny thing is you really don't feel it. It usually occurs at speeds up 85 MPH. I had a friend ride behind me once and he swears I was going to crash. I told him it looks bad but I am in control, haha

Had that happened to me the other morning to work. Tire started going flat on me, but I was able to gimp it back home the few miles I was away. I agree about helping other bikers. I have made long time friends helping bikers with my trailer when one breaks down.

Yeah. I will help any biker with any problem however I couldn't help this guy. I drove with him for over 20 miles. Who knows how long he was riding it that way. Thanks for the comment and ride safe. 👍

Looks like he had a bad front tire or loose neck bolt.

Hi mo. We are all experienced riders and being so should act on suspicious issues. Ignore the warning signs at one’s peril … be safe all.

You are so right about that, Gary. Thanks for your comment, and I hope all is well with you and your wife. 👍

I've owned just about every bike manufactured out there and currently ride a BMW R1100RS. I've also owned and rode Harleys and have friends that do as well and I've never heard of the Harley wobble. I've heard of the "wobble" and it can happen to any bike. Its not a good feeling. Just don't understand why you singled out Harley?

I didn't single out harley. Just looked it up online, and this is what it says. Google it. A worn or torn front motor mount can be the source of a wobble on a Harley Davidson®. The design had been very much the same until 2009. Three rubber mounts support the entire weight of the motor, transmission, and drive. Inspect your front motor mount

I had a1999 1500 goldwing and it did that I couldn't ride it on a highway past 60 unless I had my wife siting on back then it would settletdown.
I think it's the rear shock springs
    Worn out.

I went to the darkside and my bike felt like that the first week. I figured out the tire pressure was low and once I put 39-40psi it was perfect. This guy looks like his wheel bearings might be bad or his axel might be loose.

Yeah, I have no idea what was wrong with the bike and the rider. Hopefully he is not a subscriber of mine. 🤣🤣🤣🤣

Harley's new model! "The Side To Side Twerker Glide!" ... :-) ... (before anyone types angry reply comments ... it's a wisecrack ) > Been riding & wrenching on HDs for decades...Hopefully the rider was just attempting to "limp it" home or to shop for repair.

Thanks for this, Mo. It's a scary example of someone not paying attention to what their bike is telling them. I hope the guy realized before it was too late. There's a BunnyKingHogs video where one of their Harleys was wobbling like this. Turns out the rear wheel spokes had worked loose and started breaking. They took it to a dealer who said the spokes need to be checked and tightened at every service. 🤔

I've heard about the spokes coming loose. And that's what can happen if not worse. I'm glad my wing has no spokes, lol. Thanks for the comment, and please be safe out there.
