The fact that Unfound can merge such unique and different subsets like the percussion and the atmosphere and the rhythm into something that sounds like it belongs all in the same genre is both baffling and amazing. That, and the way everything is connected, the specific chords used, they're all set up in a way that enacts the biggest emotional or creative response from me, and I absolutely love that in a song. A song that can literally make you drop anything you were thinking about and take you into a completely place in your mind is a masterpiece.

Something hauntological generally stirs up something from the past that will forever be immortalised in memory, but it can also mean a space where which the past, present and future all blur into one. It's quite an interesting topic to read up on when talking about music and film, like a vinyl scratch on a modern track used as a motif rather than an imperfection of old technology.
Man every time I see a super modern night city in videos that's clean and technologically ahead I think of this song. This song is the epitome of super futuristic clean city at night time that's lit up. This song is basically the skylines on the planet Coruscant from Star Wars with things flying around everywhere. Makes me want to live in the future so bad. Music is a powerful inspiration.
