Palanquins are sometimes used to describe the portable structures used to hold the urns of the Nine Emperor Gods. Palanquins and Sedan Chairs are interchangeable terms having the same meaning. Since majority of people know what a Sedan Chair is, but have no idea what a Palanquin is, I decide to use the common knowledge term 'Sedan Chair'. 😊😇
