Hi, I'm travelling from overseas to Hawaii over the 4th of July, and heard there is an airshow at Kailua beach, have you covered that one before?
Sorry not familiar with that one
F-16 Fighting Falcon! My favorite jet of all time! 😃
What was the issue with the MIG wandering on first takeoff attempt
Thought it was landing, using rudder as simple speed brake..🤔
My guess is they had to repair something in the gear or hydraulic system. That looked like a high-speed taxi test.
Was this the same one that crashed at EAA Osh Kosh last year? Gotta be a complex plane to maintain..
IIRC the MIG 23 had no direct nose steering controls just differential braking like SR2X aircraft

@@nielsdorhout058 this is true, I do go planespotting quite often
Bet you don’t see that Mig again. 😳
Why?
It was destroyed in a crash at Thunder over Michigan, I believe
The privately owned Mikoyan-Gurevich MiG-23UB Flogger C with registration N23UB (former 8107 of the Czech Air Force, msn 1038107) was destroyed when it crashed near an apartment complex during the Thunder over Michigan air show, near Willow Run Airport (MI). Both pilots ejected at low altitude and one of them landed in Belleville Lake
They have many more of them , it was just one of them that crashed
Between the aborted takeoff and that shit landing I c Y
