I've got one of these and it's the same story. I've managed to not have a drone until somebody bought me this one for xmas so I had no idea what to expct from control input. I noticed the gimbals are pretty notchy around zero despite their design. The tears start at about 12:20 with trying to follow the setup in the software. I'm pretty sure that software was designed to sell ssri's or possibly hammers. After repeated emails to Holy stone they asked me for video examples to show their engineers. I'm including a link to this one in my email as well.
Great review I was a little late seeing this but I have the exact one and it doesn’t do the tornado house turns. The only problem I have is the fpv lag to my phone.

I’m with you, I hate old guys who go to empty parking lots to skate around and get in the way of me flying my toy quadcopters. PS. The Eachine ex5 was my last toy gps drone purchase. (Flies well but camera is useless) I still buy toy quadcopters to fly around but not with gps.
Your ebikes and scooters are going to make it so much easier for you to get to your flying spots. I am torn on do i watch the “ice show” or the quad....the quad of oz is off to see the wizzard to get a new gps...
Originally the drone going up to high for about 1,000 ft and use for monitoring take a video and picture from above at higher altitude but i don't understand why this drone can't fly at high.
Yeah I see that drone has some technical issues for sure I don't know if they can fix it with the software update or if it's just like you said and wow that guy has few loose screws maybe that's what he's sweeping for he's looking for his screws LOL
I think he sweeps the parking lot cuz of the rocks Pebbles, cuz he's a roller skater and if he hits one of them rocks when he rollerblading he's going to bust his shit. But I can be wrong he's probably Loco.
Good honest review Brian. Definitely a thumbs down. HS is not a bad company overall. It's a hit or a miss. My first GPS drone was HS700. I was content with it as a beginner. Much more reliable then this HS 175. What is bad about HS is they give you a slight discount like credit back on your Amazon account if you give it a good review. So the reviews can be useless. When I had a issue with my controller. I had to do about 5 emails complaining about the digital display. Finally they sent me a new one. Like any other drone mfg. You have to be consistent and not give up. I wonder if HS will ever send you another drone. LOL.
I came to this video to hear about the Drone instead I ended up having to watch you totally act like you don't have a life... so pressed and worried about the guy who clearly is doing a job cleaning. Not saying a word to him..and probably use the skates to make it easier for himself to move around and clean faster. Never known anyone situations but Clearly this man human is & just less fortunate than the guy coming on you tube going to the same business parking lot to fly $150 drone why be bothered by him or talk smack help him sucka 👊 its not all about a 💲 give advice a peace of mind encouraging words (kind ness and support crack a smile at him try to enlighten & inspire ✌
When my battery is low, it tries to return home..... ALL THE WAY BACK TO CHINA! Please how do I stop my drone from running away when the battery is low?

I have the same drone. Have had 0 issues thus far. I use the dji app for weather and sats. I fly up to 330ft on the daily. 5-800 feet away.
