Yess this album was my introduction to Dreamcatcher, if anything it showed their range of genres that they cover, and that it's not just rock. The outfit changes in Sahara is because they were waiting at the various music show venues for their live performances and promotions of Scream (and there's one or two live performances of Black or White too). I don't recall if it's the MBC or KBS buildings etc. But what stood out to me is - "no budget? no problem!" they can still make a music video themselves just having fun whilst they're doing it. The other thing is that they might look serious/charismatic in their title track MVs, but behind the scenes they're a fun and goofy group. For the In the Frozen, it was like a sequel track to Silent Night - though I don't remember if you have reacted to the Raid of Dream album yet on this channel or the previous channel. The recent clips of Silent Night encore at live perfs are insane (e.g. 240915 Dreamcatcher - Silent Night x12)
I remember reading somewhere that Tension was almost their second title track which I can’t imagine. I actually really love it as a B side. This album has my favourite DC songs… Red Sun, Jazz Bar, In The Frozen, Black or White, Sahara, Scream... Red Sun made me fall in love with DC and Sua specifically. Your ADHD genre comment cracked me up because it’s so on point.
Just 2 quick notes: "Black or white" is a homage to Michael Jackson. The continuous small guitar riff and the short violins are characteristic of some of the songs of this pop superstar of the 80s who unfortunately died too early. Some of the dance steps and the hats are also reminiscent of Jackson's style. Nevertheless, this song is NOT a cover, but rather a great composition in its own right, with references. According to many, “In the frozen” (2020) is the little sister of “Silent Night” (2019 - now an integral part of live performances). I like both songs. Both very atmospheric at the beginning, then EBM-heavy. The whole album is great. And - thank you very much for your interested reaction. From Germany.
The Tree of Language is just the best full album in my opinion. So many styles and genres that are well composed and entertaining to listen to. Not "too sweet" songs, but great instrumentals and great vocals ! I think my favourite (apart from Title Track) might be In the Frozen...or Sahara ! I also remember listening to Black and White a lot of times. I love the melody of Jazz bar, it's nostalgic... Oh wait, which is my favourite then ? Might be all of them🙃
49:39 i so wish we got duo highnotes in dc songs, the only time they've done that was in their f(x) goodbye summer cover and that was like my holy grail of dc harmonies until we got fireflies.... i rllyyyy hope they do more harmonies in the future frfr

I think like it's a much more positive mindset that allows me enjoy more and care less about "They should do this, or that" at least until the song ends. But I get that when doing a reaction video you have to share both the positives and negatives from your perspective. Btw, have you checked out the Red Sun stage they did for the webtoon singer contest? They changed the instrumental (to fit more the theme I guess) and Handong is also in there, I think it is really cool to watch if you like Red Sun. Red sun and BEcause are 2 of their songs in that adhd genre. Its so packed with quality and theres never a boring moment
If Im not wrong, tension almost replace Goodnight as their second title song, the prechorus of tension sounds similar to the last bridge of good night
