I remember when I was little my dad would put so much emphasis on us washing the heel when we did wudhu. I never understood but he said it was important as you don’t want it to even touch the hell fire. May Allah grant him the highest paradise and allow him to see paradise everyday in his grave, ameen. The man that taught me how to pray, I will forever be grateful.

It is very easy to enter hell fire. We have to be careful about even the mundane of things. Since even those mundane things are MAJOR sins in Islam. May Allah forgive our shortcomings, Ameen. Also, just a reminder for those that do wudu in public restrooms, knowing that many people don't wash themselves the Islamic way or very dirty or clumsy with using restrooms. DO NOT use barefoot on the floor of the restroom after completing the washing of the foot segment while doing wudu. Your foot will be in contact with the filthy restroom floor. Public restroom floors are dirty since a lot of people stand up to urinate and spill drops of urine on the floor. That floor is then stepped on and smeared all over the restroom floor as people enter and leave the restroom daily.

You know what, you guys have made people fear Islam with your stupid thumbnails - why would in every enlightenment video there should be a scary ghost or something similar to it?
Imagine a kid being so interested in learning about Islam - but all they see in your thumbnails is nothing but scary stuffs.
As a Muslim, I agree we have to answer for every sin we commit - but in order to ask for forgiveness, people should not fear Allah but instead approach him since he is the most merciful and kind. ALLAH loves us more than anyone in this world - but why don’t you all show the good side of asking for forgiveness?

Asalamu Alaikum. For Wiswas, in Islam you should ignore the thought and move on and avoid repeating steps after you’ve done a step in Salah or Wudu. Even if you think you really didn’t do it right or the the right number of times, it’s fine, Allah will accept your wudu and Salah. If you want, you can have someone watch you when you do wudu and Salah. And recite Surah Al-Nas and Surah Al Falaq and Al Ikhlas 3x every morning and evening. May Allah make it easy for you and protect you.

We have to do our best but we will never be perfect as Only Allah is perfect. Also we will make mistakes in our lives as long as we live but we shouldn’t always remember that Allah is The Most Merciful and we should try to always seek his Forgiveness and repent unto him. We should try our best to avoid sinning but if it happens don’t listen to the whispers (waswas) of shaytan in which he wants you to believe that all hope if lost and you are doomed. Always remember Allah and have full faith and trust in him and know that even when it comes to sins, you have around 6 hours to repent and seek Allah’s forgiveness until the angel on your left shoulder writes down the sin. But i do agree the thumbnail is unsettling, unsuitable for many people.

To magnify on heal and suspend other acts within wudu, I would seriously question the Hadith if its not to embrace other parts.

Allah knows Best. Always try to seek Allah’s forgiveness and repent unto Allah.

The subject of this hadeeth is improperly performing wudhuu’. As to the meanings of some of the words:
    • waylun : This is a threat (wa’eed). And it is said that this could be a valley in Hellfire, and the other opinion is that it means punishment.
    • Al-a’qaab - The plural of‘ aqib (heel). This refers to the heels which were left not completely wet in wudhuu’.
The overall meaning is that since taharah (purification) is one of the greatest and most important conditions for salaah, improperly doing it will take away from the salaah. That is why the Prophet (`alayhi salaatu was-salaam) warned against incompletion or improperly making the purification to the degree that he gave such a threat regarding improper handling of one of the parts upon which wudhuu’ is to be made; a threat of Punishment in Hell on that particular part. Why did the Prophet (sallallaahu `alayhi was-sallam) particularize the heels as the part? This is because it was the place where the wudhuu’ on it was not completed as in the hadeeth referring to this incident.
In the version reported by ‘Abdullaah ibn ‘Amr he said: “We returned from Makkah to Madeenah with the Messenger of Allaah (sallallaahu ‘alayhi wa sallam), and when we came to some water on the way, some of the people were in a hurry at the time of the afternoon prayer and performed ablution hurriedly; and when we reached them, their heels were dry, no water had touched them. The Prophet (sallallaahu ‘alayhi wa sallam) said: ‘Woe to (dry) heels, because of Hell-fire. Make your ablution thorough’.” [Muslim]. In another narration also by ‘Abdullaah ibn ‘Amr who said: “The Messenger of Allaah (sallallaahu ‘alayhi wa sallam) lagged behind us on a journey. We travelled (back) and we took him; and then came the time of the afternoon prayer, and as we were going to wipe our feet he (sallallaahu ‘alayhi wa sallam) called out: ‘Woe to the heels because of Hell-fire’.” [Muslim]. So this is the reason behind the hadeeth, and in the version by Abi Hurayrah, he reported that: “Allaah’s Messenger (sallallaahu ‘alayhi wa sallam) saw a man who did not wash his heel and he remarked: ‘Woe to the heels because of Hell-Fire’.” [Muslim].

Hello brothers and sisters, I’m new to learning about Islam and if I continue on this path I will likely come to convert. But something in this video confused me and I have some questions.
Missing one of the 5 daily prayers takes me out of the fold of Islam?
But if I forget a prayer or do not wake before sunrise to pray what will happen, am I still out of Islam?
This video states it’s necessary to wash before prayer properly or go to hellfire when I die, does that mean it also takes me out of Islam?
Does any of this mean I would need to take my Shahadah again??

    • @The_ummah
      @The_ummah ปีที่แล้ว

the prayer has been made obligatory for the muslims but if you miss a prayer for example. because you have overslept then you must make up the prayer immediately as our Prophet (SAW) told. so every time you have a valid reason that you really can't help yourself, maybe you will be physically stopped or maybe you set an alarm for the fajr prayer (morning prayer) but it didn't go off then you won't get judged but you must pray when you have the change to pray and always remember Allah is the most merciful and the most just.
Only if you neglect your prayer, it can lead to leaving Islam. the messenger of Allah also said the one who does not pray there is no difference between him and the disbeliever. because the one who neglect his prayer has done kufr. hopefully it's a bit clear. forgive me for my english. If you have any question just ask them insha Allah i can answer them

In our sense, it's not necessary
Only when the foot is dirty or dusty we clean our heels, if you just took a shower then it'd not necessary, but you still have to massah over top of the foot
That's what we know and have practiced

i think necessary is the wrong word because it is in fact necessary to wash the foot and make sure the heel is included. as he said in the video, when “wayl” is mentioned in the Quran before a sin, it makes it a major sin. this goes for a dirty foot or a “clean” foot.

@@raghadarif1001 May Allah forgive all of us but this seems so weird that a muslim would get a severe punishment just because of missing out a little part of heel. Allah says he is ar rahman and ar raheem and he's very merciful, in my opinion a lot of people have made islam difficult than it actually is. infact islam is not difficult at all. And I'm not using any argument to back up my laziness or ignorance but most of the time i feel like that some scholars shouldn't be trusted fully as a lot people use their own akal (intelligence) to comprehend the hadis and it refers from person to person. 1) make sure to wash your heel/elbows when making wudu. RasulAllah (SAW) in an authentic hadith said woe to those who dont wash their heels. According to this video and many other sources it is a major sin to forget to wash the heels/elbows when making wudu.
    2) nail polish is halal but a women must make sure it is completely taken off before making wudu because it prevents the water from touching the finger nails
    3) it is impermissible to wash a limb more than three times, its a transgression against the sunnah of RasulAllah (SAW). 7:25

I am learning Islam, and I'm reading the Quran, I know we have to fallow Quran 's teaching by heart. And our prophet Muhammad (PBUP) said fallow the Quran and he commanded his fallower before he die not to write any book about him. But Muslims scholars after 290yrs of our prophets death they appointed Hadith as an official book about our prophet??? That it self is a disobedience from our prophet and notw we concentrate on what according to Bokhari who was not even an Arabic speaker gathered information in Mecca 290 yrs after our prophet died and it became the center of our faith too?? Why??? Quran alone is a sufficient/ enough guidance of how to enter Jannah. Our prophet knew thst the people will write a book about him that's why he commented his fallowers NOT TO DO IT!
