Im getting my first fattail scorpion on Saturday. They are so beautiful. But even though its a desert species give it water. My Deathstalker always drinks and they are a desert species too.
Hey guys, some of you may not know this, but did you know that "Androdoctonus" is Greek for " Man-Killer"? These are animals worthy of high quality respect at all times.
@@jerumd is it still in debate whether the aumorexi is deadly? Swear I’ve seen many arguments saying it’s not a hospital trip and others saying it is because it is an androctonus species. I do not have an aumorexi but i do have a bicolor, australis, and liouvillei.
THANK YOU. What a shit setup... "ant-er-octus".. he can't even pronounce it right, and it's fairly straight forward. "I do provide it water, but they probably don't need it" ARE YOU KIDDING ME? of course they need water. They don't need to be misted but once a month or even every other month. Even then, a very light mist. Critter keeper? This dude is an amateur, which is fine. But he has no place making care videos...
good lord, this video gets worse and worse as I watch it. Do you see what he's herding the crickets with? Freaking tweezer-looking things. This is a HIGHLY VENOMOUS SCORPION. Ugh
Would you guys recommend heat mats for my a. Australis a. Bicolor a. Liouvillei and p. Transvaalicus? I do live in Arizona so it’s hot either way, but I’m looking at acquiring heat mats that are non stick and i can adjust the heat. I have a vid up about mine

That was mentioned in the video.. Very interesting though.
I have 3 a.austalis love them to bits.
This is a Androctonus amoreuxi, not a A. australis if you notice the thickness of the tail, which is a dead giveaway..

90+ degrees is required to boost up their metabolism for this species in order for them to eat just so you know..
