My favorite part about 21:25 is that the warlock cycles through almost all his finisher animations, so it looks like he's just pulling out every technique he's learned after panicking that the first one failed 😂

I think the warlock did the strand super and they grappled one of those projectiles, but yeah same concept.

@@taktika4764 ya know, I thought that at first too, but threadlings immediately fall to the ground and scoot along. The warlock super travels through the air and disappears as it hits a target. It would explain why the hunter’s melee one hit killed

fun fact: if you get nez off the stage it doesn't softlock the encounter, he respawns after a while. Also if you time it right you can revive someone through his wipe mechanic and still kill him

I'm pretty sure the second Strongholds Titan was using a new Sword with the new "Guard, Take Damage, Get Increased Lunge Range" Perk, that's why he was able to close the distance so fast.

Nope, new seasonal sword. “Valiant Charge” is the name of the perk and as far as I’ve seen, it’s on all the new swords this season. (Season of Defiance)

That frost pulse on the thunder crashing titan is possibly the most insane thing I’ve ever witnessed. I knew it was coming too and it still made my jaw hit the floor.
Then the warlock that gets frozen in their super that the editor also put the falling pipe sound on after he asked during the Titan clip just killed me.
I'm glad my break-dancing cursed cabal could bring everyone so much amusement 😁. About fell off my chair when I first clipped it.

21:25 The first failed finisher on the champ was no big deal. I’d seen it happen often enough that I wasn’t surprised. But I have never seen something survive TWO finishers. After that I just wanted to see how far I could take it

in the seraph shield I would have it happen indefinitely in one room every once and awhile. it was a boss that would drop an item and would just soft lock me no matter how many finishers, or how many bullets it got hit with
finisher bug on unstopps is something I ran into in witch queen. If their backpack ENTERS a doorway that is closed for a guardian, the finisher won't damage them. I think it applies the damage to their crit and it becomes innacessable.
A Tormentor survived one of my finishers on the last campaign mission.
In the video, what I thought was awesome was that the Warlock cycled through five different finishers trying to kill the Unstop
@@sephandremanticore5438 the backpack in the doorway may be one cause of the issue. But while I’ve had other enemies survive a finisher, powerful as the Calus tormenter all the way to a lowly acolyte, they’ve never survived a second, so there’s obviously something else going on here too. So I expect in this particular instance the backpack in the doorway is the culprit

Osteo is the SMG Jotun. I love it, and it's pretty strong to a point. Not meta, but not weak by any means.

Osteo Striga is just overall fun in PVP and PVE. It is very forgiving with its semi-tracking rounds and the poison effect is 👌🏽. It reminds me of the good ol’ Needler days in Halo. It’s for sure a Medium - Close Range weapon so choose it wisely in those close quarter maps 😄

The increased use of Stronghold both delights me and frightens me, because more and more people realise the insane power of the exotic which makes it more likely for Bungie to nerf it.

The big thing I seem to see about osteo is the ease of use because of the tracking. It's amazing for the kind of turn your brain off and just hold left click in an enemy's vague direction playstyle.

It would depend on the sword used but this would be an interesting video
From experience, you can survive:
>all bullets from both golden guns
>the projectiles of blade barrage if airborne
>all attacks from arcstrider except the big sweep
>all attacks from nighstalker
>all attacks from shadow shot (leaves you very vulnerable)
>initial blast from slova(seeking projectiles will kill you)
>most attacks from nova warp
> a few seconds of storm caller
>most attacks of dawn blade
>all attacks of sentinel shield
>the splash damage of thundercrash
>the light attacks of striker
>sunbreaker hammers (sunspots are deadly though)
Stasis supers are hard counters
I haven’t tested strand but I imagine suspend will be a pretty hard counter.

I like Osteo Striga because at best, you kill them first - and at worst it usually forces a draw by killing the guy that killed you. It is funny.

Grapple melee in pvp is becoming one of my favorites.
I use osteo striga in pvp. Absolutely love it. Solar warlock, heat rises, icarus, phoenix dive. Fun exotic to use, and a little out of the box is using the Rain of Fire, I know it isn't paired with a fusion rifle, but the auto reload when using icarus dash is the use. Approach duels from the air hip firing, icarus for reload and movement for being unpredictable, then phoenix dive on them to clean up if necessary. I rarely ADS. I will pair with an explosive personality with auto load and disruption break., or a High impact pulse for larger maps.
Osteo Is a terrifying sounding weapon, and puts players in panic mode when you attack from above. Very enjoyable.
Nah, that second Strongholds was a 10 for running Bow, Sword, Glaive with Wish Ender

I like Osteo Striga simply because it's an SMG that can get up to 95 rounds before reload or build them back up which is great for solo play and Gambit.

osteo is mostly being used as a crutch in pvp from what i've seen...its mainly people spamming it in hallways for area denial or relying on it's tracking rather than just...shooting at someone

Perk:
Loose threads-
Deploying your rift causes a shockwave of Strand energy unraveling targets caught in its effect, as well as granting you and allies in the rift unravelling rounds for your strand weapons.
Warlock chest armour - Robes of the River weaver
Perk: Go with the flow
Double tap B(or controller equivalent) whilst in the air to unravel yourself and teleport in the direction you are moving, reforming on the other side, passing through targets with this unravels and severs them and grants you woven mail and triggers health regen.
(Basically strand blink but does not replace regular warlock glide and can be used offensively, it would have a cooldown similar to Icarus dash, health regen only applies if you hit a target)
Salticidae Helm warlock head armour
Perk - Pounce and kill
Grants a second grapple charge
Jump height and speed is drastically increased, jumping spawns a grapple point at launch and a second one upon landing, grappling these points will propel you to the other and vice versa. Grapple charges faster whilst airborne.
(Basically the Warlocks version of stompees, jump height and speed are increased, the grapple points created will function as a sort of zipline, provided they are not obscured from eachother that is, to replicate the Jumping spiders safety line as is the exotics namesake)
Hunter leg armour - Sparassidae strides
Perk - on the hunt
Grants an additional grapple charge, sprinting rapidly regenerates grapple energy, grappling a target slows them and grapple melee applies poison damage over time, kills with this poison also refund grapple energy.
(Capitalises on hunter speed and the speed of the hunstman spiders to create a grapple spamming high speed aggressive setup combined with poison effects to let the hunter move around the battlefield striking fast and deadly like some of the deadlier spiders out there)
Hunter chest armour -
Shrikes nest harness
Perk - Nest of needles
Grants two additional melee charges, melee kills fully refund one charge, throwing out all three and catching all three after each knife lands a hit on a separate target will cause your next melee use to launch all three at the same time at one target which they will strike 4 consecutive times or until it dies upon which they will split and strike other targets as normal.
(This plays into the hunter melees unique almost living properties to allow the hunter to unleash a deadly swarm on their opponents, the perk granted unleash the swarm, will have a cooldown of 10 seconds in-between activation so not to be overpowered, in PvP the swarm will only strike the same guardian twice and the cooldown will be 15 seconds.

Perk - through the devil's lair
Activating your grapple whilst surrounded or critically wounded triggers health regeneration, woven mail and grants infinite grapple and no cooldowns on grapple use for a few seconds.
(The radiant dance machines of the arms, this will allow hunters to escape or turn the tables on large groups of enemies or simply quickly exit a dangerous situation and create a chain route to quickly re-enter or allow allies to also escape)
Titan arms armour - Chainweaver gauntlets
Perk - trappers arsenal
Grants an additional suspending grenade charge, suspend effects have extended duration and slow targets after the suspension effect ends, hitting suspended targets with another suspension grenade further extends the effect and unravels the target.
Titan chest armour - Harbingers cuirass
Perk - rip and tear
Hits with your melee buff melee damage and kills refund melee charges, when critically wounded while surrounded consumes your class ability and triggers berserk mode, fully refunding your melee and granting max stacks of melee damage buff, kills in this state extend berserk mode, healing you on kill, enemies you kill release a shockwave that unravles nearby enemies.

Perk - Cutting path
Sprint speed is increased for every fully charged ability, ability charge rate is increased whilst sprinting, with faster charge for each spent ability, when casting your super grant extra speed and duration for each charged ability.
I'm not entirely sure if all of these ideas are completely balanced in these states, but nonetheless this is one of the most well thought out suggestions I've read on a TH-cam comment

8:42 imo ostio striga is more of a PvE weapon not a PvP because its has homing bullets and then has an AOE status effect that activates upon triggering it on on enemy or killing an enemy so its really good at clearing large groups of enemies that the game decides to burry you in

Osteo striga is good in pvp, but it suffers from the same problem as the telesto, sometimes you just trade a ton because the travel or explosion time let’s the enemy kill you before they die

I ended up getting a 20 kill streak yesterday, I held off around 7-8 guardians moved around the map but I only was able to get a recording of me getting the medal lmao, weapon was Perpetualis seasonal auto

So the reason why I use Osteo Striga in pvp is because I usually play on geforce now, which is to say that there’s always a just barely noticable input delay which makes a lot of guns hard to use. The Aimbot, as weak as it may be, really helps circumvent that.
