      Climate and weather are not the same thing. 💖 weather is always changing year to year, climate (the overall weather patterns consistent in the long term) was stable thousands of years. Starting in the 1980s we entered the Anthropocene- a new era we live in now where human produced greenhouse gasses destabilize climate. This is why we have been experiencing record weather events every year where I live instead of the usual patterns of weather falling into a spectrum of expected patterns punctuated by occasional outlier events.
