I read a theory that when Cap traveled back in time to return the stones, he got Nat back in exchange for the soul stone and then Nat helped him return all of the remaining stones and she helped him fix all of the stuff that they messed up when they collected the stones... he didn't marry Peggy because that will change the future, and marrying Peggy will prevent her from marrying the husband that she married when Steve froze in ice, so he just stopped by to dance with her. Then when they were ready to go home, they only had 1 pym particle left, so they promised to stay and only return if one of them dies. Years passed and Nat and Steve got married, lived life together until Nat died and that's when Cap returned to inform everyone that everything was okay. But when Sam asked who the girl Steve married, he refused to tell him because it was actually Natasha. I really love this theory and I think it is true and I will forever believe in it. ❤

Although I don’t think we will ever know and I think marvel want us to believe that he ended up with Peggy and that’s what they’re saying happened because I doubt they’ll ever tell that story of Nat and Steve if it were true. Shaking my head until the day I die. Romanogers would've been the healthiest and most uncomplicated romance in the entire franchise but I guess MCU couldn't have that, it's not fairytale-like enough. Steggy, Brutasha and Staron were such bad cliché ships.

The scene where they all went back to the present after they successfully collected the stone and Clint dropped down on his knees, Bruce asked where Natasha was and Clint looked at Steve, not at Bruce. He looked directly at Steve with pain in his eyes and the camera even zoomed into Steve's face. He could have looked at anyone, especially Bruce since he is supposed to be Nat's love interest (horrible decision btw), but he looked at Steve first. And when they were all gathered at the dock to mourn her, the camera kept on zooming at Steve's face, I mean it zoomed at the others as well but it was always Steve. Something definitely happened between the two or there was an unspoken agreement or confession that they both loved each other. Change my mind, I dare you.
That is what i'm thinking too at that part of the movie, but I was still crying.😭
hope at the upcoming black widow movie, theyd explore what happened between natasha and steve while bruce was gone for 2 years based on ragnarok, i mean cmonnn there should be something going on between them, developed feelings or deeper relationship. dem russo bros

Theories/Facts that make Romanogers shippers happy.
1. When Steve went back to return the stones. He found a way to get back Nat, they both help each other to return all the stones... after the whole ordeal. Steve went to give Peggy the dance, went back to Nat and married her, spending the rest of his life with her.
2. In CATWS, in the escalator scene. Nat knew that there was different ways to hide their identity, Steve also knew.
3. Look at their faces when Nat was pushing Steve to Sharon and when Steve was pushing Banner to Nat, they clearly didnt want too.
4. During Age Of Ultron, when they were on the floating rock, Steve was faced with the possibility of death. He didnt look up, he just looked at Nat, and Nat ONLY.
5. During Infinity War trio runaway, some words and actions we're shared between Nat and Steve during one night.

i don’t normally comment, but he cared a lot. we see steve shed a tear when he hasn’t traditionally been one to show his emotions loudly. he’s been a strong person and has, in result, kept his feelings mainly hidden. the fact that he even shed that tear was a pretty big deal. but overall, her death was TOTALLY downplayed. :(
Shefali B yeah he cried a good bit actually, he’s not one to sob and wail just not in his character. I think with endgame there was so much packed in that there wasn’t enough time to show a lot of potential low key scenes and conversations and that because they may have not driven the story forward or something idk, but I would like to imagine they did more mourning but they had to show tonys funeral as it was more symbolic for marvel... for example Steve and Bucky obviously had a conversation about Steve going back to Peggy and giving Sam the shield which I would have loved to see. Maybe there’s scenes on the DVD

If you read the book A Hero's Journey Steve Rogers does tell Natasha about Buckey's death and what huge loss it was. And that causes Natasha to feel sympathy again because KGB trained her and other black widow agents not to feel guilt and regret for the pain they caused other people.

It's gratifying for someone like me, a comic reader going back 40 years to see how big an effect these characters have had on movie audiences. You put in the extra effort of using segments from their other movies showing how important this project was for you. Once again, these characters used to exist for me printed only on newsprint paper decades ago and now they're loved by millions of fans all over the world, it's been an amazing journey. Heartfelt tribute vid, really wonderful work.

Peggy will always be Steve’s number one, but I believe you can love more than once. And I 100% think that there are feelings between them. They have always stayed by each other’s sides. Weather it was when black widow was there for cap when Peggy died or all the times cap made sure nat was okay. Which is why I ship them more than any other characters in the MCU, and will never stop shipping them! I also believe that they will always have feelings for each other no matter what happens...hint hint endgame.😭❤️❤️❤️

The thing that’s so frustrating to me is that they so obviously teased their relationship in CA: Winter Soldier and then completely threw it in the trash with the stupid Brutasha thing. This is the one thing I think the Russo brothers messed. They had such amazing chemistry in every scene. I’m almost positive they were originally supposed to be a thing because why the hell would Winter Soldier be the way it is? And i personally think it was bad character development for Steve when he went back in time for Peggy. Like i wish that i almost wish i shipped Steggy so i wouldn’t have felt the same heartbreak i did at the end of Endgame. Like if you want us to love Steggy, give them more than one kiss or actually make it look like they have any chemistry that compares to Romanogers. And don’t even get me started on Steve’s relationship with Sharon that was literally the stupidest thing i’ve ever seen. And the fact that they never even touched on what happened in the two years between Age of Ultron and Infinity. There’s no way they were written to be “just friends” for the entire franchise. And if they were, then the Russo brothers don’t know how to write a “just friends” relationship.

I have been playing this over and over after Endgame, the feels... gosh, especially those first lines, how i wish she could have a chance to say good bye, and I could have a chance to say good bye to her. She wasn’t my absolute fav but her death affects me the most, I don’t think I can move on over her death, not me, to the point I don’t feel like I’m gonna watch/ accept a new female Marvel character soon. Yeah, I’m that bitter.

Major plot hole: If they can bring Gamora back from the soul stone, then they can bring back Black Widow. The only repercussion is losing memories so they could just take the past Natasha and bring her to the present. While getting her from the past, they could just take a recent one so that not many memories are taken from her like Gamora
