If you think about it, Hera had no reason to be mad at Alcmene and Hercules because the former was deceived because Zeus took the form of her husband and the latter never asked to be born. The problem was, Hera couldn't vent her anger and frustration on Zeus because he was too powerful.

you missing the whole point of Greek gods. Greek gods were gods in power but had human fleas on their characters.
that woman will always remind to her that she was not enough about her husband so her husband not only went and slept with another woman but cheated his appearance to do that. that woman was so attractive for her husband that she was happy to do anything to sleep with her. that is quite a strong feeling if you respect words like family.
that child was a living proof that this had happened. it was not just a story that someone said to someone the kid was a proof that this happened. and not only that but it was a healthy strong kid. not only there is a proof that your partner choose to sleep with someone else, but also the result do that intercorse is a successful and strong human been. there is a living proof that you are not good for your partner and even more that probably they were ok because the results are good.
if you can not see the strength of the emotions there are possibilities.
you can not connect/ you are not allowing yourself to connect strong enough with someone that jealousy will appear.

Not only that, but after leading a failed Olympus-wide coup against Zeus, Hera had been forced to vow NEVER to do anything like that again. Said vow was extracted via torture Zeus inflicted on her as punishment for leading the coup^, but the vow itself was considered valid regardless, so from that point on Hera couldn't take out her rage on Zeus no matter how much she may have wanted to.
_^More specifically, Zeus had Hera suspended by her wrists above a bottomless void. Despite how harmless this may look in the movies, this kind of physical suspension is BRUTAL and can be potentially fatal IRL; in some versions, a weight is also hung from Hera's feet to further increase her torture. Zeus then threatened to leave Hera like that for eternity unless she made the aforementioned vow, and needless to say she didn't really have much choice in the matter._

@@miscellaneoussarnian5282 I mean, I literally do. I worship both Greek and Roman Gods. I've used all of those names before. When I worship Him as a Greek God I call Him Herakles and I call Him Hercules when I worship Him as a Roman God.
Funnily enough, the Romans actually worshipped Hercules with Greek-inspired rites to acknowledge His Greek heritage so pretty much He was never a truly Roman God but rather a Greek God worshipped by Romans. Couple this with the fact that Emperor Julian used Greek names when worshipping the Gods during the attempt of reviving Roman Polytheism as Rome's official religion and you begin to see how silly the whole "Herakles / Hercules" thing really is. It's the same guy and it's simply pedantic to pretend otherwise in a casual conversation.
Also, since you mentioned it, Bacchus is actually not Dionysos' Roman name. The name is derived from the Greek "Bakchos". A truly Roman name for Dionysus would be Liber Pater.

If I remember correctly, Hercules was inflicted with madness by Hera and killed his wife Megara and his children. This crime is the reason why he was sent on those 12 labors in order to atone for what he had done. So many people seem to skip that part of the story and make it seem like the king just randomly sent Hercules on difficult missions out of spite.

      why prophet Elijah

    • @vladimirlalicprotivlazinainter
      @vladimirlalicprotivlazinainter 11 หลายเดือนก่อน

@@FredWheezy You know for sure that they threw the prophet Elijah on the pyre to burn him alive, but the Lord God sent for him fiery angelic chariots with which he took the unharmed Elijah to Heaven, where he is still alive, and he never died, unlike the first man Adam. We Serbs still have a saying when we hear the rumbling of thunder : "Prophet Elijah drives horses across the sky !" We Serbs also remember our ancestor Noah and everything else that came. Now compare the taking of Prophet Elijah from the pyre to the heavens in fiery chariots with Heracles and what does the legend say happened to him?! The Greek Heracles, the greatest hero of all time, apparently the Hebrew Samson, who was called Hercules by the Italians, Latins, and later Romans, was thrown on the pyre to be burned alive! Because Heracles' father was the Thunderer Zeus, who was The Latins called Jupiter and in ancient India they called him "Dius pitar" which means "God the Father", Zeus ordered his daughter Athena to come from the heavenly Olympus, where the gods live, to get his half-brother and the son of Zeus and save him from a horrible death on the pyre! Athena did her father Zeus's bidding and quickly arrived from Olympus in a chariot of fire to take Heracles to Olympus where he became one of the gods! This is copied from the prophet Elijah. What is terrible is the fact that the ancient Greeks Hellenes were polytheists and their gods were classic fallen angels, just like in Hinduism. During his lifetime, the prophet Elijah slaughtered the priest Baal, whom the Satanists still worship and who was worshiped in ancient Babylon, later by their Semitic descendants, the Phoenicians, and the Carthaginians. They offered human sacrifices to Baal, small children throwing them into the flames when they played loudly so they wouldn't hear the screams in agony of the dying children! Well, the Greeks built a temple in honor of their false god Heracles and even offered human sacrifices to him, and in the Christian era, the Lord God had to destroy that Greek pagan occult temple, and he reduced it to dust and ashes. The Etruscan Tirascenic Rasen capital of Ruma, was called Roma by Italian Latins, and we Serbs and Slavs, our descendants, call it Rome, it is the 3rd name and the most wrong name. I live in a small town called Ruma, Srem region in Serbia. That Srem also Srim is named after the capital of the ancient Roman Empire Sirmium. Sirmium is today's Sremska Mitrovica, just 10 miles from Ruma where I live. Ancient Sirmium was named after an ancient Tribal archontos/archons named Sirm. Archontos is translated into the present, or at least close to our time, as grand duke, the same as a marquis mark count. That Sirm from the Tribal people was named after Noah's son Shem, who was called Sarm in India. All this has been preserved in Serbia to this day, so that Srem/Srim, where I live, should actually be translated like this : "Sem's town; Sam's country". I am writing this to you because I am a professor of history and scientific researcher, inventor, artist, sports coach, and I know people from the general staff to politicians, scientists, professors, doctors of science... History is heavily falsified, and the Serbs to whom I belong are the original ancient Arians, this is now confirmed to us by the living Arians in Asia, in Europe there are written documents that say the same, emphasizing that all Slavs were once called Serbs. There were many such names: Serbs, Serbians, Sirbians, Serblians, Sirblians very and fundamental close to siblings, Sarbats, Srbadia 100 % close to buddies friends and brothers, Sorbi, Sorabi, Sirbi, Sarbi, Serbani, Sarbani and many other names. Our real ancestral language is even Proto-Sanskrit, philology calls it Proto-Indo-European in which the two main gods were Perunos and Vodenos. Perunos was the god Perun of the later Slavs and Vodenos was Vodan and Vodan god of the Germans, related to Poseidon of the ancient Greeks, and Poseidavone to the ancient Illyrians for the god who owns the seas and oceans. Vota and voda mean water, and don in that Proto-Indo-European language means river and water, of course, the sea along with the ocean. Even German is an ancient Serbian personal name, 100 % equal to Les and Shuman. Les to Slavs means forest, arboles is a forest to ancient Latin people and jarbol means mast on a sailing ship. Shuman is a man from shuma. Shuma is a forest, soma in antic Sanskrit and the name for a river in France, because in the past this river flowed through the giant forest. Even the name forest is 90 % close to old Serbian words, even the word is from our verb goVORiTi t/d which means to speak. Speak and speech are very close to our iSPriCHati which mean to narrate. "Shu Mu" to Chinese means trees. Shuma to us and going to shumu also for us Serbian people. English word oak for one type of tree wood is a shortened form of Celtic dervoak which means wood. Proto-Slavic and protoceltic word dervo and dervi is tree. Many Slavic people speak even today dervo. From dervo, the shortened form is dvo, then vod is English wood ! Dervo is also an old Serbian name for wood, and Dervan is name of our old prince. Dervo is shortened into drvo in the modern Serbian language.

This would be a pretty good visual retelling of the original myth, if the narrator actually used the right name. Hercules is the Roman version, this is obviously supposed to be the Greek version of the story, so his name is supposed to be Heracles and not Hercules.

Believe it or not, Herakles is actually responsible for several of the constellations and quite a few of them are parts of the zodiac. Even more interesting, one of them technically is Herakles. While most often Gemini is considered to be the Dioscuri, sometimes Gemini is Herakles and Apollo wrestling. Ophiuchus (sometimes considered to be the thirteenth zodiac sign) is sometimes said to be Herakles though more often it is Asklepios.
And yes, as previously mentioned, Herakles is responsible for Leo. It's the Nemean Lion which He slew for His first labor
Herakles Himself is also a constellation. Fittingly enough the constellation is called Hercules in Latin. In Greek it's Engonasin ("Kneeler") and several figures are said to be its identity though Herakles is the most common

Now, as someone who worships both Greek and Roman Gods, I will use Herakles when worshipping Him as a Greek God and Hercules when worshipping Him as a Roman God but in normal conversation I use whichever one I feel like using at the time. He responds to both. In fact, the funny thing is that Hercules was never worshipped as a fully Roman God. He was honored with Greek-inspired rites that acknowledged His heritage as a Greek. So basically He's always been a Greek God that just so happened to be worshipped by other people. In my mind, that fact alone makes it clear to me that it really doesn't matter outside of ritual or academic contexts what you call Him
