Hi dale I love your videos I have been trying to learn accordion I just have an normal accordion 120 bass and I don’t know what’s wrong but when I try to play my accordion bass and the piano keyboard at same time the bass over powers the keyboard sound and the keyboard ends up sounding really quiet I don’t know if I’m doing something wrong or if it’s broken or it’s just how it is? Any tips on this?
This could be many things: how you play, your bellows control, the registration buttons you have picked. It is hard to know without hearing you play the instrument.
The bellows serve important functions on the Roland accordion. They control expression for the accordion division and pitch detune for the accordion division - just as in an acoustic accordion. The bellows control the volume and accents for the Orchestral and Organ divisions. The keys are touch sensitive for the Orchestral division sounds like brass, reeds, percussion. So, overall there is much more to control with the entire instrument than with an acoustic accordion. That being said, there is the option to edit the bellows function into the FIXED position. This function allows players who have lost the use of their left arm to continue to play without moving the bellows. In the Fixed position, all expression is lost, but at least those players can still enjoy making music.
Love Hawaiian music!!
Think I’m using a 16gb stick in my Fr3x and it works fine. Maybe a little overkill especially since I rarely use wav or mp3 backing.

Thanks. My ‘1X Dale Mathis has a USB port. So will the 1X record, or even play stuff in the background?
The 1x does not have a record function, but it will play WAV files. Check your owner manual for more information.
I love listening and have a question. If you don't have to move the bellows to make a sound, is it really an accordion?
