Phil team still has room for improvement. Just need more practice and exposure to tournaments like these, and they'll get better.
There are always rooms for improvement but what all I can say about PH gaming is that, #2 (Alysa Valdez) is the only one who could pull some amazing scores. Yet, she's also having hard time to rise her team. On top of that, she should not be on the lineup because she's done with here collegiate career. But anyway still a good experience and fun watching. I think they should put La Salle(?) (the green team) because they are totally packaged team. I'm not a filipino nor thai

Great game Lady Eagles! Not holding anything against the Lady Eagles but I believe the DLSU lady spikers could have done a slightly better performance. They depend on Valdez to score too much and she has already graduated. The libero and the team's defense isn't that great too and the offense is very predictable because the Thai could easily read the offense and block their hits. Still a great game though! Good luck Lady Eagles!

Thailand players are already competing against the top countries in five world grand prix and other high level competitions compare to Philippine players.
This team is seriously falling apart. They are terrible at defense. The libero has not received one good ball at all. She's slow and ineffective. The only one capable of showing international level playing was the team captain and she's supposedly off the team now. They need to reevaluate their game plan and work a little harder on the court if they want to be a better team.
it make sense kung pinag mix nila lahat ng mga super magagaling na manlalaro natin sayang naman dumayo na rin lang sila dapat yung mga the best na ang ipanlaban .....
More exposure pa talaga. We don't have the size and power to compete head on with the powerhouses of Asia.

Some of the thai players already played at international level. So what do you guys expect? Imagine sending some of filipino basketball players that played in world cup vs. the basketball team of thailand. Massacre.
it's not all about valdez, volleyball is a team sport, every member of the team must contribute.... so disappointing
i'm just wondering shown in thailand just like playing to the philippines team.. And philippines are struggling to fight againt thailand..hindi nag seseryuso makipaglaro ang thailand pero ang philippines hirap na hirap makipag laban..and im just wondering to thatdao and ajcharaporn thier performance here and they dont have appetite to fight againts philippines..and i really wonder to thatdao and ajcharaporn how they play it in world grand prix volleyball very amazing performance.. And i see here they dont have appetite to fight againts philippines and we all know philippines all players is so weak..

Michelle Morente have no business whatsoever to be in this game or to be in an international volleyball game. She's way too short and way to chunky to block and run for the ball. Her hits are easily read and blocked. She probably have 2-4 points in 3 sets.
Also not y'all Ateneo fans know that Alyssa is not really that good. So many, many better volleyball player than her in terms of power and court sense. And this is only Asia, hell its only South east asia. I still believe that did Alyssa stayed in UST, she would have been way better than this and improved a whole lot more. She started playing vball under the UST program and that made her this good. That was high school level though. UST's volleyball college program is way better. Maizo, Balse, Bernal (the most powerful hitter in all of Philippine Volleyball), Tan, Dimaculangan, Tabaquero, Mance -- these are all amazing volleyball players produced by UST out of pure program and training and they're all champions.
