Thanks - this was the exact help I needed! I was able to remove some leaf debris and solve my squealing fan noise.

I just took mine out and resolved my problem. The AC blower is located at the bottom, right above where the passenger's feet are. You do not even have to remove the glove compartment to access, although its much easier to do so. Rememver the glove compartment removal is 3 steps: 1) pull to the right, outward, the glove box arm 2) push inward, toward middle of box, the left and right tabs 3) lower the box all the way down and it will slide off. you do not "pluck" it off!
I then used an 8mm socket bit to remove the 3 screws. the one closest to the engine is a bit of a pain to get to as there is not much room. I have a 90 degree ratchet, very small, and used that. i highly recommend if you do not have one. it is about 4" long and very inexpensive.
I then carefully carried it to my workbench. I took pictures as i disassembled each piece. remember to put the screws in separate traps - use paper cups if you have to. For each step, use a different cup. this is because there is one screw that is NOT like the others. It is an extra long screw that is used to screw in the circuit board.
my problem was with the "bell" that spins around the coil. a little screw (or something, I never found it) fell down the vent, all the way to the blower. once there, it would abrade against the bell. I counted five areas where it had shaved off pieces of the bell. i did not have to disassemble beyond that point. I never removed the shaft or its bushings.
I used a toothpick to put a few dabs of superlube (that's the product name) onto the bushings. it is supposed to be compatible with most other lubes. this was more to be just in case. the problem was resolved and I put everything back.
    hope this helps you all!
FYI: 2017 sienna SE. replacement part is $140. I did not have to replace.

9 hours into a 16 hr cross country trip and the blower motor went out the same way. So this is a common problem with this van?
