Perry is such a magnificent singer. He sings this song with so much feeling and emotion.A truly wonderful melodic performance of this lovely song.He really did have the voice of an angel.Never fails to move me when I listen to him sing.Just brilliant.
This song was my dad's favorite of all time. Such a beautiful sentiment! I remember as a teen, looking out my bedroom window at the moon and singing this song! I would lean on my window sill and dream! My mother loved Perry Como so much. My parents met singing with the Indianpolis Symphony Choir. They are singing with the angels...and Perry... now.
And although I never took Mr. Como to be a very prideful man, you could tell at the end of the song that he was very proud of how he'd just sung it...that he was totally satisfied with what he'd done...as we are also! Loved him.

Once again, the 'original' Mr. Cool, grooves a classical standard! Bravo! Perry...
What a voice , my mother loved him

This is the best version of this song. Its not a song that should be jazzed-up, that just coarsens it.
check out the Billy Eckstine live version
Perry's studio recording of this -- almost identical to this -- is one of his best.
Cold chills.
And tears.
He never sang a "wrong" song, did he?

Perry: the original "Mr.Cool." ... and then there was Bing and Dean also. - they were all great in their hey-day. ... and missed.
we still have Tony Bennett, thank God.
And Connie !
Easy money...terrific.
I like this better than Sinatra's "jazzy" syncopated version... Like the background Latin rhythms..
I agree. Perry sings from his heart and has a much better voice.
I listened to Sinatra's version for about ten seconds. this is pretty good
Sinatra was just another lounge lizard
Actually, an excellent rendition of the Cole Porter classic.
actually?
