It was such a weird game. After the second box at 7:43, Mark was already looking like he would burst into tears, and because he looked so upset and couldn’t see the funny side, it created this awful atmosphere akin to a funeral. I mean when the banker offers you literal peanuts you HAVE to laugh, but again Mark reacted like someone had died. I can only assume that Mark must have owed a gangster money and came on Deal in a desperate attempt to pay them back.
ye... and Noel even laughs when the banker says he wouldn't have rung.. shows Noel is quite the bad one too in these.. but ye, this show is brutal when you first are on a bad roll :/ Worst thing I ever have seen.. poor lad.
For the record he's not the only contestant who left with nothing, on an Easter special a guy also left with nothing because he picked both bad eggs "there's 3 eggs, 2 bad and 1 good, the good would've doubled his money and the bads would leave him with nothing"
There was a guy on the aus version who knocked out the 4 highest amounts from most (200k) to least (50k) all in the first round. He was offered 10 cents. He could be a contender for title of the unluckiest player. Then he came back a few years later as part of a "banker's revenge" theme of shows where he once again knocked out the 200k first (though in a moment of irony it was in the case he had the first time he was on). For that first round he was offered 11 cents.
@@cutemimi25 Well it depends if the person with a penny and dollar was "unlucky" did that person have a big amount that they knocked off with that being the only big amount? That's not bad luck, it's greed. This person in the video was not greedy and literally knocked out all the red amounts.
In Italy the unluckiest game of 2023 was the 27th October game. The contestant with 8 boxes left had 7 blues and €10,000 as the only red in game (€10k in Italy is the 2nd lowest red)
I mean, he had really bad luck, yes. But that choice in the end to swap even after getting the advice NOT to swap and the chance to swap back...there must ring some alarm bells. The banker is just part of the show and they don't want to let him get away with nothing! So it was for sure the banker didn't lie.
Interesting to note that Nong had £5 in her box. In her game she was left with £5 and £250,000 as the last two boxes. So statistically, it makes sense that she won the quarter million. It’s unlikely to choose the same money amount twice.
Wheeew man, never seen such intense bad luck, even when the banker tried to be generous 😱 he should go get his bad luck cleansed. Definitely UN-lucky Number 13🥵
On the uk version they treat this game extremely seriously. Look at the aus verison for example some guy on there had pretty much the same game and they all had a big laugh.
UK DoND started well but its budget got tighter as time went on and they kept picking vulnerable people who just wanted to win money for sentimental reasons or in some cases were financial unstable and actually *needed* money (hence all the crying and sob-stories). i.e. players who were usually too emotionally and/or financially unstable to take risks and were most likely to deal early, thus saving the show money and making it too predictable. If an Aussie DoND contestant had this game, they would've just been laughing all the way through and not taking it so seriously
Hey Mark..I would suggest you ditch that fave number of yours 13..dude dont you know that the #13 is the most universally known as the most unlucky number in the history of man?..you know..Friday the 13th..duh..
How is your opinion about that 13 now? Must be hard to look at that ring after this. I wanna respect him for sticking with his plan to swap to 13 but come on... Did you really believe they would screw you over twice by telling you that you should not take the 13? That earned you even less than the lowest possible win of 1p.
As a Canadian, the funniest thing in the world is a black person with a British accent lol (ALWAYS make me laugh my 'bum' off!!!) my brain can't handle it! 'WHA?!!! hahaha!"

One small packet of dry roasted peanuts, deal or no deal. LOL
lifeloverNorris He didn't even get the small packet of peanuts 🥜
It's almost as if their cheers were bad luck. XD

You mean Daimon from 2009?
@@kennethaninon6913 Yes
@@cutemimi25 ok....
Poor Mark had no luck at all.
Not gonna lie the banker laughing at him is pretty great, noel isn't much help constantly laying it thick about how bad the game is.
And he didn't even get the peanuts...
Throughout all international versions of DOND, Mark is probably THE unluckiest player in history bar none.

@@MrSilnev On the US version we had 2 unlucky players, on the Syndicated version they were left with $.01 and $1.

On the French version (À prendre ou à laisser), there was a contestant who took out 5 of the top 6 amounts in the first round.

Radimunto you should always swap
I hope this clown pawned his ring and bought a pack of dry roasted peanuts to bring home.
The banker was indeed telling the truth at the end. He does have a heart.
Had he kept the 2 boxes with blues, he would've had the record of all-blue 11 box......
😂😂 your first box out is 50,000, cant help myself😂😂
This participant had better see his horoscope before participate at this show. :'D
I couldn’t stop laughing 😂
Let me guess. Mommy and Daddy didn't hug you enough? You look like a scammer from India. STAY IN YOUR OWN COUNTRY.

Then you should watch my luck 😪
You go banker ! Well played :D

how's about a cry and a drullet
What the hell is wrong with these people? It's just a game. Why the hell is he crying?

Rumor has it, shortly after this Episode aired Mark became a Street Hooker. And attempted suicide twice.
