Right on. I’ve had my ‘06 IS350 for 9 years and I just rolled over 200k miles last week. I keep him very clean and it’s complimented almost daily. (Even when taken to the dealership for service.) 😜 Keep these cars serviced and clean and they’ll last!

Had a Tercel and a Corolla in the past and they lasted a damn long time. Toyota/Lexus FTW

these cars are becoming popular on many of the small islands in the Caribbean, i own a 2008 Toyota Mark X, which uses the same engines as the Lexus IS 250, Mark X are only sold in Japan but many people my myself have imported used ones....some parts i get off of EBAY and Amazon for the IS 250 works on the Mark X like a radiator i bought a year ago. Have you even seen a Toyota Mark X in America ? i doubt it

@@automotivetv9861 is350 it's faster than all of them from a dig but va/hr are faster from a roll, this it's all because of the gearing on the rear differential for the final drive lexus has a much lower final drive ratio so it's better at 0-60 but lacks top end

I have some pictures of it seems like someone had a rear diffuser and a spolier because it has some holes 🤔 also doesnt sound stock not sure if i like that im pretty sure they beat on it😅 but yeah its a good deal had the nav taken out and sound system also sone buttons missing but its all cosmetics which i dont mind at all . Yeah nav was down but thats replacable
Well basically all lexus are like tanks. My mom es300 has +400k miles or even more now and the car still runs like a champ but it's coming to its end soon sadly

Marty Motoring that’s way too cheap. I bought 2011 is350 f sport last summer with 90k miles for 16k. Unless you are looking for 06-08 with over 130k miles you won’t find it under 10k

No, all cars have drivetrain loss from HP measured at the crank vs. HP measured at the wheels... Our is350's measure 306hp from the factory... Normally measuring 256-266 at the wheels... Mine is the silver one in the video measuring 279hp as my best pull on the Dyno, with a couple of aftermarket bolt ons it would measure 325hp to 330hp at the engine with somewhere between 13% to 18% drivetrain loss.
I should have explained how to dyno works - kinda assumed on my part. 306 hp engine power has to go through the transmission and driveshaft, or "drivetrain" and to the wheels. The dyno measure powers to the wheels. Wheel or Brake horsepower is measure at the wheels, not engine. So 306hp minus drivetrain loss came out to 274hp for me.
I got a ‘17 ES350 ultra luxury for my first car. Although its not nearly as fun to drive as my dad’s ‘18 IS350 F-Sport AWD, i obviously can’t complain and it’s great for taking around friends.

306hp in the engine doesn’t mean the same hp to the wheels which a dyno measures. There is a usually a 10-25% loss of power through the transmission and driveline to the wheels. Most RWD lose about 40-50hp to the wheels. So 274hp means closer to 310-320hp at the “crank” or engine
They have decent power but there is always something faster. They are built well and nice cars for sure. The superchargers make them fun but cost a good amount. Only thing this car has lost to so far is a G37 after 100mph, ISF by .6 seconds and any Camaro or V8 car really lol. It does well for a V6, no doubt!
There isn’t much of a difference for the second gen IS between regular and FSport bumper - unless you mean the 3rd gen swap?That why I just changed my grille and added a lip. Was a lot easier than buying essentially the same bumper lol. The later models (09-13) had updated fog lights and grilles and lip design. And also, the ISF (08-14) bumper would look goofy with my car not being as wide.

Crank and wheel horsepower are different. The engine is rated at 306hp, but with drivetrain loss (usually 15%) you get the wheel horsepower. So 274 wheel hp tells us the engine does have more than the rated 306 engine hp.
It was smaller, and the footage I got was kinda before everyone got there lol but just grabbed a few shots. Still fun hanging out and getting a cheap dyno pull at this nice facility!

It’s the same engine, just the 2007 is easier to turn traction control off and a few other little things. The get very close dyno and 0-60 results.

I have an 08, replaced the motor with 98k miles, because of stupid reasons, with a 83k mile motor. Mf is fast. Topped it off a little over 150 mph

Very few mods can be done on a lexus is250 or the is350 to gain much hp but they are much more reliable than my N54.
Yup it's just bolt-ons and a tune for a little extra power. Or supercharger. Still fun and keeps up with cars of today
